Ամերիկուհի հետազոտող Թերի Դանկովիչը՝ Պիտսբուրգի Քառնեգի-Մելլոն համալսարանից, ստեղծել Է գիրք, որի Էջերը փոխարինում են ջրազտիչին, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC Neus-ին:

Գրքի մշակման համար պահանջվել Է մի քանի տարի: Թղթի վարակազերծիչ հատկությունների համար պատասխանատու են դրա կազմի մեջ մտնող արծաթի եւ պղնձի նանոմասնիկները, գիրքն ինքը պատմում Է ջուրը մաքրելու կարեւորության մասին:

Դաշտային պայմաններում Էջերի զտող հատկությունն ստուգելու համար հետազոտողները 25 աղտոտված աղբյուրներ են ընտրել Հարավային Աֆրիկայում, Գանայում եւ Բանգլադեշում: Գիտափորձի արդյունքների համաձայն՝ թղթով անցած վտանգավոր բակտերիաների թիվը կրճատվել Է ավելի քան 99 տոկոսով՝ համապատասխանելով ԱՄՆ-ում խմելաջրի համար ընդունված չափորոշիչներին: Զտումից հետո նմուշներում նստած պղնձի ու արծաթի թվաքանակը չի գերազանցում առավելագույն թույլատրելին, նշում Է Դանկովիչը:
