Գերտերությունները փորձում են իրենց անմիջական վերահսկողության տակ վերցնել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հիմնահարցի կարգավորումը։ Ու թեև կարող է թվալ, թե Սոչիում օգոստոսի 10-ին և Նյուպորտում սեպտեմբերի 4-ին տեղի ունեցած եռակողմ հանդիպումները որևէ արդյունք չտվեցին, սակայն ադրբեջանագետ Սարգիս Ասատրյանը կարևոր է համարում հակամարտության կարգավորման վրա մեծ տերությունների ուշադրության սևեռումը:
Սեպտեմբերի 8-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն ադրբեջանագետն ընդգծեց, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի կշիռը և Կովկասի տարածաշրջանի կարևորությունը գնալով մեծանում է։ «Ուկրաինայում և Մերձավոր Արևելքում տեղի ունեցող իրադարձությունները վտանգում են էներգետիկ կոմունիկացիաների անվտանգությունը։ Արևմուտքն այս տարածաշրջանը՝ Կովկասը, դիտարկում է որպես ռեսուրսների տարանցիկ ճանապարհ և նպատակ ունի Միջին Ասիայի ռեսուրսները հետագայում Ադրբեջանի, Վրաստանի կամ Հայաստանի տարածքով հասցնել Եվրոպա և, բնականաբար, նրանց շատ է խանգարում չլուծվող հակամարտությո ւնը։ Նրանք շատ են վախենում, որ բնական պաշարներով հարուստ Մերձավոր Արևելքում ներկայումս տիրող անկառավարելի քաոսի նման մի իրավիճակ կարող է առաջանալ նաև Անդրկովկասում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ասաց նա։
Խոսելով «Իսլամական պետություն» խմբավորման մասին՝ փորձագետը նշեց, որ մարդկության պատմության մեջ դեռ չի եղել այսպիսի ահռելի ֆինանսական միջոցների տիրապետող ահաբեկչական խմբավորում։ «Նրանք ծայրահեղ իսլամի ջատագովներ են և անգամ շատ դեպքերում շեղվում են այդ դրույթներից։ Իրենք ներկայացնում են, որ բոլորն անհավատ են և համացանցում կա տարածված մի քարտեզ, որտեղ ներգրավված են Միջին Ասիայի, Աֆրիկայի և, ընդհանրապես, բոլոր մուսուլմանական երկրները, այսինքն` նրանք փորձում են ստեղծել նորօրյա «Իսլամական խալիֆայություն»: Սա մտահոգիչ փաստ է, որովհետև պարզ չէ, թե վաղը նրանք ուր կարող են հասնել և ինչ կարող են անել։ Նրանք կոտորում են եզդիներին և այլ ազգերին՝ այդ ազգերի նկատմամբ իրականացնելով ցեղասպանություն»,- ասաց փորձագետը։
Ըստ բանախոսի՝ այդ կառույցում շատ ադրբեջանցիներ են կռվում, ինչը խոսում է նրա մասին, որ ծայրահեղ իսլամիստական հոսանքները շատ երկրներում իրենց խորը արմատներն են ձգել և նորանոր մարդկանց են ներգրավում իրենց շարքերը։ «Ադրբեջանական թերթերը նայելիս ամեն օր կարող ես հանդիպել այսպիսի տեղեկությունների, որ մի հայտնի մարզիկ՝ ըմբշամարտիկ կամ բռնցքամարտիկ, գնում է Սիրիա և Իրաք ու ներգրավվում է այդ պայքարի մեջ։ Դա Ադրբեջանի և մնացած երկրների համար լուրջ մտահոգվելու տեղիք է տալիս և իզուր չէ, որ այսօր Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգները հարվածներ է հասցնում ու փորձում է ոչնչացնել նրանց՝ թույլ չտալու համար նրանց հետագա ներթափանցումը այլ երկրներ»,- հավելեց Ասատրյանը։
