Կանզասի ազգային գվարդիայի օդուժը Միացյալ հայկական հիմնադրամի հետ համագործակցության շրջանակներում 1.4 միլիոն դոլարի դեղորայք և բժշկական պարագաներ է տեղափոխել Հայաստան:

Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունն այդ կապակցությամբ ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է. «Համագործակցությունը, որին հիմք էր դրվել դեռ 2014թ-ին, շարունակվում է նաև 2015-ին: Կանզասի ազգային գվարդիայի օդուժը և Գլենդեյլի Միացյալ հայկական հիմնադրամը ևս մեկ անգամ համատեղեցին իրենց ջանքերը Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը մարդասիրական աջակցություն ցուցաբերելու համար: «Դիրեքթ ռելիֆ ինտերնեյշնլ» (Direct Relief International) կազմակերպությունը, որը հանդիսանում է Միացյալ հայկական հիմնադրամի հիմնական գործընկերը, նվիրաբերել է ավելի քան 1.4 միլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլար արժողությամբ դեղորայք և այլ բժշկական միջոցներ: Կանզասի ազգային գվարդիայի օդուժը դեղորայքը տեղափոխել է Կանզաս նահանգի Տոպիկա քաղաքից Երևան: Այս երկու կողմերի միջև համագործակցությունը և գործընկերությունը շարունակում է նպաստել Հայաստանում կյանքի որակի բարելավմանը»:

Երկրորդ տարին է, որ այս երկու մարմինների համագործակցությամբ Հայաստանին դեղորայք է տրամադրվում: Նախորդ տարի Հայաստան էր ուղարկվել 4.1 միլիոն դոլարի դեղորայք: 

«Մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում Կանզասի ազգային գվարդիայի օդուժի և Հայաստանի միջև կապը»,-ասել է Միացյալ հայկական հիմնադրամի նախագահ Հարութ Սասունյանը: «Մենք նաև շնորհակալ ենք Direct Relief International-ին ավիափոխադրման գործում ունեցած արժեքավոր ներդրման համար: Հայաստանում 1988 թվականի երկրաշարժից սկսած` Direct Relief International կազմակերպությունը տասնյակ միլիոն դոլարների աջակցություն է ցուցաբերել Հայաստանին Միացյալ Հայկական հիմնադրամի միջոցով»,-ավելացրել է Հարութ Սասունյանը:

Նախորդ 26 տարիներին Միացյալ հայկական հիմնադրամը Հայաստանին ու Արցախին է փոխանցել 712 միլիոն դոլարի օգնության պարագաներ, 2 հազար 252 ծովային կոնտեյներ, կատարվել է 159 թռիչք:
