Հունաստանի վարչապետ Ալեքսիս Ցիպրասը հրաժարվել Է հանդիպել ՍԻՌԻԶԱ կառավարող կուսակցությունից անջատված ձախ թեւի առաջնորդ Պանայոտիս Լաֆազանիսի հետ, որը պաշտոնաթողության մասին Ցիպրասի հայտարարությունից հետո կառավարություն կազմելու մանդատ Է ստացել: Ցիպրասը նաեւ հրաժարվել Է քննարկել Լաֆազանիսի օրենսդրական նախաձեռնությունները: Ինչպես հաղորդում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով կառավարության մամուլի ծառայությանը, օգոստոսի 24-ին կառավարություն կազմելու մանդատի շրջանակներում Լաֆազանիսը զանգահարել Է Ցիպրասին եւ առաջարկել հանդիպել:    

«Ցավոք, այդ միակ հանդիպումը, որն անցկացվում Է (իշխանության) ինստիտուտների ժողովրդավարական աշխատանքի շրջանակներում, հնարավոր չեղավ Ցիպրասի բացասական դիրքորոշման պատճառով»,- ասված Է «Ժողովրդական միասնության» մամուլի տեղեկագրում, որն ստացվել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստիում:

Ավելի վաղ Լաֆազանիսը եւ ՍԻՌԻԶԱ-ի ձախ պլատֆորմի ավելի քան 30 պատգամավորներ հրաժարվել Էին քվեարկել վարկատուների հետ հուշագրի օգտին, ինչը  հանգեցրել Էր կուսակցության պառակտման: Ըստ զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցների հաղորդումների՝ օգոստոսի 24-ին Լաֆազանիսը հանձնել Է նոր կուսակցության գրանցման փաստաթղթեր, որով մտադիր Է գնալ ընտրությունների՝ եվրոյի գոտուց դուրս գալու եւ վարկատուների հետ բոլոր հուշագրերը խզելու կարգախոսի ներքո:    

Սպասվում Է, որ օգոստոսի 27-ին կամ 28-ին Հունաստանի նախագահը կհայտարարի վաղաժամկետ ընտրությունների նշանակման եւ օժանդակ կամ տեխնիկական կառավարության ստեղծման մասին:
