Վանի Սուրբ Գեւորգ հայկական վանքն սպասում է վերանորոգման

 Վանի Բահչեսարայ գավառում 1400 մ բարձրության վրա լեռան մեջ ներկառուցված Սուրբ Գեւորգ հայկական վանքը, Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից հետո թալանվելուց եւ լքվելուց հետո սպասում է վերանորոգման եւ վերաբացմանը հավատացյալների համար:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` վկայակոչելով թուրքական «Բեսթանուջե» կայքը, չնայած ցեղասպանությունից հետո անցած հարյուր տարիներին, Սուրբ Գեւորգ վանքը պահպանում է իր նախկին շքեղությունը:

Լեռան քարանձավում կառուցված վանքը կարեւոր ճարտարապետական արժեք է հադիսանում: Աղրով լեռան հարավային թեքության վրա գտնվող վանքը հայտնի է նաեւ Պտղեվանք անվամբ: Վանքի կառուցման ճշգրիտ ժամկետը հայտնի չէ: Ենթադրվում է, որ այն կառուցվել է Արծրունիների թագավորության ժամանակ:

Բրիտանական թանգարանում գտնվող 1317 թվականի մի ձեռագրի համաձայն` Սուրբ Գեւորգ վանքը 14-րդ դարում հանդիսացել է Վասպուրականի թագավորության կարեւոր կրթական եւ մշակութային կենտրոն:

Չնայած գանձ որոնողների կողմից թալանվելուն եւ մասնակի ավերումներին, տեղի բնակչությունը ցանկանում է, որ դեռեւս կանգուն վանքը վերանորոգվի եւ քրիստոնյա ժողովրդի համար վերաբացվի որպես աղոթավայր:

Կայքի հետ զրույցում քրդական Դեմոկրատական տարածաշրջանային կուսակցությունից Բահչեսարայի քաղաքային խորհրդի անդամ Էհդեմիր Էլբիրն ասել է, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից հետո տարածաշրջանում գտնվող հայկական եկեղեցիներն ու վանքերը թալանվել եւ ավերվել են ինչպես իշխող ռեժիմի, այնպես էլ գանձ որոնողների կողմից:

«Այստեղ գտնվող եկեղեցիներն ու վանքերը շատ կարեւոր են եւ հանդիսանում են տարածաշրջանի հարստությունը: Կրոնական տեսակետից դրանք բոլորը սրբավայրեր են հանդիսանում, որոնց վերականգնումն ու պահպանությունը բոլորիս պարտականությունն է: Մենք կոչ ենք անում թուրքական պետությանն ու քրիստոնյա համայնքին վերականգնել վանքը, այն դարձյալ բերել իր նախկին շքեղ տեսքին եւ վերաբացել որպես քրիստոնեական աղոթատեղի», -ասել է Էլբիրը:
