Մինչ ուսումնական տարվա մեկնարկը բարձր առաջադիմություն ունեցող եւ միջազգային օլիմպիադաներում բարձր տեղեր գրաված հայ դպրոցականները նախագահական նստավայրում են`հանդիպելու երկրի առաջնորդին եւ նրանից ստանալու պարգեւներ  ու շնորհավորանքներ: Նրանց հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ նախագահը շեշտում է, որ տարատեսակ հանդիպումների ժամանակ մեծ գոհունակությամբ եւ հպարտությամբ է խոսում հայ դպրոցականների հաջողությունների եւ հակապես վերջերս միջազգային օլիմպիադաներում տարած հաղթանակների մասին:

Մխիթար Հերացու անվան բշժշկական համալսարանի ուսանող Աշոտ Աթայանը նախագահական նստավայր է այցելել զինվորական համազգեստով:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում Աշոտը պատմում է, որ քննություններից հետո զորակոչվել է բանակ եւ այժմ ծառայում է Արարատի զորամասում: «Հպարտ եմ, որ հենց զինվորական համազգեստով ստացա մեդալ եւ երջանիկ եմ, որ իմ գիտելիքներն օգտագործելու եմ ի շահ մեր բանակի»,-ասում է նա:

«Մեղու. հայերենը բոլորի համար» մրցույթի հաղթող Լեւոն Սահակյանն էլ նախագահին առաջարկությամբ է եկել, որպեսզի հաջորդ տարվանից հանրապետությունում համահայկական հայոց լեզվի մրցույթներ կազմակերպվեն: Նախագահի գնահատմամբ` առաջարկությունը հետաքրքրական է, եւ չի բացառվում, որ հենց Համահայկական խաղերի ծրագրում անցկացվի նաեւ հայոց լեզվի մրցույթ:

Դանիայում Կենսաբանության միջազգային օլիմպիադայից արծաթե մեդալով Երեւան վերադարձած Սիրանուշ Բաբախանովան էլ նախագահական նստավայրում երկրորդ անգամ է. նախորդ տարի էլ կենսաբանություն առարկայից միջազգային օլիմպիադայից Հայաստան էր վերադարձել բրոնզե մեդալով ու կրկին արժանացել պարգեւի հանրապետության ղեկավարից:

«Բարի ավանդույթ է երկրի նախագահի կողմից նման ընդունելությունն ու պարգեւների բաշխումն, բարոյական խրախուսանքը մեր լավագույն աշակերտներին: Նման երեխաներն են մեր երկրի ապագան, նրանք են մեր լավագույն պարծանքը: Երեխաներ, որոնց համար կարելի է վստահաբար ասել, որ գիտելիքով են բացում իրենց կյանքի ճանապարհը: Նրանք գիտեն, որ իրենց ինտելեկտուալ կարողություններով կարող են ճանապարհ հարթել»,- միջոցառման ավարտին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀ ԿԳ նախարար Արմեն Աշոտյանը` հավելելով, որ աշակերտներն այս տարի շատ լավ արդյունքներ են գրանցվել:

 Միջազգային օլիմպիադաներում հայ աշակերտները նվաճել են 20 մեդալ, ինչը ռեկորդային ցուցանիշ է Հայաստանի համար, այն դեպքում, երբ չեն մասնակցել Բաքվում կայացած քիմիայի օլիմպիադայում: Այս տարի աճել է շրջանավարտ ոսկե մեդալակիրների թիվը, եթե նախորդ տարի նրանք 47-ն են եղել այս տարի՝ 73-ն են։
