ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը և ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսը օգոստոսի 28-ին ներկա են գտնվել ԱՄՆ զինված ուժերի կողմից հայ սանհրանգիչների պատրաստության համար համապատասխան դասախոսական կազմի վերապատրաստման ուսումնական դասընթացի ավարտական միջոցառմանը: Դասընթացի հայ շրջանավարտները 12-ն են:

​Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, վերջին երեք ամիսների ընթացքում ԱՄՆ Ցամաքային ուժերի 6 զինծառայողներ դասընթացներ են անցկացրել հայ գործընկերների համար, ովքեր սկսելու են ծառայել որպես հրահանգիչներ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերի ռազմական բուժակների դպրոցում: Դասընթացն իրականացվում էր հայ-ամերիկյան երկկողմ ռազմական համագործակցության շրջանակներում և նպատակ ուներ բարելավելու վիրավոր զինծառայողներին ցո ւցաբերվող առաջին բուժօգնությունը:

​ Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ամերիկյան կողմին և շնորհավորելով դասընթացն ավարտողներին` ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարը մասնավորապես ասաց. «Այս երեք ամիսների ընթացքում, օր ու գիշեր լինելով մեր զինծառայողների կողքին, ամերիկյան հրահանգիչների խումբը գիտելիքների ու փորձի փոխանակման հիանալի հնարավորություն ստեղծեց: Դասընթացը հաջողությամբ ավարտելով` դուք դառնում եք հրահանգիչներ և ձեր փորձն ու գիտելիքներն եք փոխանցելու մեր ապագա բուժակներին և սանհրահանգիչներին` առաջին օղակում բուժապահովման կազմակերպողներին ու ցուցաբերողներին, որոնց ար հեստավարժությունից և որակյալ գործունեությունից կախված են լինելու մեր զինծառայողներին բարձրակարգ, ժամանակին և ճիշտ բուժօգնության ցուցաբերումը»:

«Հայ-ամերիկյան կուռ և ամուր գործընկերությունը մեկ անգամ ևս ցույց է տալիս, թե ինչպիսիք կարող են լինել ձեռքբերումները, երբ մենք աշխատում ենք միասին: Այսօրվա ավարտական միջոցառումը շարունակաբար աճող և ամրապնդվող երկկողմ համագործակցության մի նոր օրինակ է: Այս դասընթացը մեր պետությունների փոխադարձ առաջընթացի, մեր բարեկամության և միմյանց նկատմամբ կուռ հավատի և վստահության դրսևորման ևս մեկ օրինակ է: Գիտեմ, որ մեր գործընկերությունը կամրապնդվի անվտանգությանն ու կայունությանն ուղղված մարտահրավերներին դիմակայելու մեր հետագա ջանքերին զուգընթաց, մարտահրավերներ, որ որևէ երկիր ի զորու չէ միայնակ լուծել: Նորօրյա մարտահրավերներին դիմակայելու համար պահանջվում է նույնակերպ մտածողություն ու մոտեցումներ որդեգրած պետությունների համագործակցություն, իսկ այսօրվա մեր միջոցառումը փաստում է, որ հայ-ամերիկյան համագործակցությունն ընթանում է աշխույժ ու լավ»,- իր հերթին նշեց դեսպան Միլսը:
