Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը սեպտեմբերի 4-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանում Միացյալ Թագավորության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Քեթրին Լիչին, ով ավարտում է դիվանագիտական առաքելությունը մեր երկրում:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել դեսպանին՝ պաշտոնավարման տարիներին հայ-բրիտանական հարաբերությունների ամրապնդմանն ուղղված նրա ջանքերի և արդյունավետ համագործակցության համար, որի արդյունքում երկու երկրների միջև ակտիվացել է քաղաքական երկխոսությունը, զարգացում են ապրել միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերությունները, որոշակի դրական տեղաշարժ է արձանագրվել առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերութուններում:
