Չիլիում դաժանորեն լքված մանկահասակ երեխան կենդանի է մնացել հղի շան շնորհիվ, որը կերակրել է նրան իր կաթով։

Ականատեսները մեխանիկի աշխատանքային հրապարակում տեսել են, թե ինչպես է շունը կերակրում 2-ամյա տղային, ում նրա հարբած մայրը նրան առանց սննդի ու ջրի էր թողել։ Ոստիկանությունը, ժամանելով դեպքի վայր՝ մայրաքաղաք Սանտյագո, մերկ ու թերսնված երեխային տեղափոխել է 2000 կմ դեպի հյուսիս գտնվող Խուան Նոե տարածքային հիվանդանոց։

Նա մաշկային բորբոքումներ է ունեցել ու վարակված է եղել լվերով։

Պաշտոնյաները հավատացած են, որ տղան, ում տեսել են Ռեյնա անունով շան կողմից կերակրվելիս նավահանգստի աղքան շրջանում, փրկվել է սովամահությունից միայն շան կաթի շնորհիվ։

Հարևանների պնդմամբ՝ տղայի «մահացու հարբած» մայրը հայտնվել է այն ժամանակ, երբ երեխան հիվանդանոցում էր։

Ոստիկանության սպան լրատվամիջոցներին տված հարցազրույցի ժամանակ հայտնել է, որ երեխան ավելի ուշ դուրս է գրվել հիվանդանոցից ու ժամանակավոր տեղափոխվել տեղի մանկական խնամքի կենտորն։ Ինչևէ, նրա մայրը չի ձերբակալվել։

Ոստիկանության սպան բացատրել է, որ մորը չձերբակալելու պատճառն այն է, որ երեխայի վրա բռնության հետքեր չեն հայտնաբերվել։
Երեխայի հայրն ավելի ուշ հայտնվել է հիվանդանոցում, սակայն նրա դերը պարզ չէ։ Պարզ չէ նաև, թե որտեղ են եղել երկու ծնողները, երբ երեխային լքված ու անօգնական հայտնաբերել են մեխանիկի աշխատանքային հրապարակում։

Չիլիի ազգային ծառայության աշխատակցուհի Մարսելա Լաբրանյան արտահայտել է լքված երեխայի ճակատագրի մասին իր վրդովմունքն ու նշել, որ հազարավոր մարդիկ են ապրում խիտ բնակեցված այդ տարածքի հետնախորշերում։

Նա ստեղծված իրավիճակը դատապարտելի և անմարդկային է որակել՝ ավելացնելով, որ պարզ չէ՝ արդյո՞ք երեխան ողջ կմնար, եթե չլիներ կերակրող շունը։
