«Սասնա ծռեր» էպոսին նվիրված հանրապետական փառատոնը հատում է եզրագիծը: ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության աջակցությամբ իրականացվող փառատոնի եզրափակիչ փուլի էպոսասացության մրցույթը տեղի կունենա սեպտեմբերի 16-17-ին Հովհաննես Շարամբեյանի անվան ժողովրդական ստեղծագործության կենտրոնում, իսկ շարադրությունների մրցույթը՝ սեպտեմբերի 25-ին ՀՀ Արմավիրի մարզի Մեծամորի ավագ դպրոցում:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, փառատոնի հաղթողները ելույթ կունենան եզրափակիչ միջոցառմանը, որը կանցկացվի հոկտեմբերի 10-ին ՀՀ Արագածոտնի մարզի Ուջան գյուղում՝ միտում ունենալով այն դարձնել էպոսի կենսունակության և հանրահռչակման մշակութային տարածք:

ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության աջակցությամբ, արդեն ավանդական դարձած «Սասնա ծռեր» էպոսին նվիրված փառատոնը մեկնարկել է ապրիլից: Այն իրականացվում է հանրապետական ձևաչափով` ներառելով էպոսասացության մրցույթ և շարադրությունների օլիմպիադա:

Սեպտեմբերի 6-ին ՀՀ Արագածոտնի մարզի Աշտարակ քաղաքում գտնվող Պերճ Պռոշյանի տուն-թանգարանում կայացել է ««Սասնա ծռեր» էպոսը և հայ ժողովրդի ազգային ազատագրական շարժումը» խորագրով գիտաժողովը:

Փառատոնի նպատակն է նպաստել ազգային, ավանդական, հոգևոր-մշակու­թային արժեքների ճիշտ ընկալմանն ու գիտակցմանը, ինչպես նաև դրանց տա­րածմանն ու պահպանմանը: Այն կարևորվում է նաև նրանով, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ներկայացրած ««Սասնա ծռեր կամ Սասունցի Դավիթ» էպոսի կատարողական դրսևորումները» հայտը 2012 թվականին ընդգրկվել է ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի մարդկության ոչ նյութական մշակութային ժառանգության ներկայացուցչական ցանկում:
