Մոնրեալաբնակ երաժիշտ, երգահան Պետրոս Շուժունյանի «Պատարագ և Հոգեհանգիստ 2015» ստեղծագործությունը նվիրված 1915թ.-ի Մեծ եղեռնի զոհերի հիշատակին առաջին անգամ կսփռվի www.sourphagop.netկայքի միջով:  Ինչպես հաղորդում է  Արմենպրեսը, Սուրբ պատարագը հնարավոր կլինի դիտել Երևանի ժամանակով սեպտեմբերի 12-ին երեկոյան ժամը 7:30: 
Ցեղասպանության 100-ամյակին ձոնված այս ստեղծագործության վրա հեղինակը աշխատել է շուրջ հինգ տարի: «Այսպիսի մեծ տարողությամբ երգչախմբային գործ հայկական երաժշտության մեջ առաջինն է: Գործը կատարվելու համար հարկավոր էր մեծաթիվ երգչախումբ, որովհետև ստեղծագործությունում մինչև 8 ձայնի բաժանում և երկար տևողություններով պահվող նոտաներ կային»,- ասել  է երաժիշտ, երգահան Պետրոս Շուժունյանը՝ նշելով, որ ստեղծագործությունը կատարող երգչախումբը Մոնրեալի «Սենթ Լորենս» երգչախումբն է, որը բաղկացած է մոտ 100 կանադացի երգիչներից:

Երգչախմբի ղեկավարը՝ Ֆիլիփ Բուրքը, երիտասարդ ֆրասնիացի է, ով կարողացել է ընդամենը երկու ամսում տիրապետել հայերենի հնչյունաբանությանը, որպեսզի ստեղծագործությունը ճիշտ հնչի:  «Իր ստեղծագործական ոճի մեջ այս ստեղծագործությունը բոլորովին տարբեր է թե’ Կոմիտասից և թե’ Եկմալյանից, սակայն այս երաժշտության հիմքը մեր շարականներն են, որպես ներշնչում»,- ասել  է «Պատարագ և Հոգեհանգիստ 2015» ստեղծագործության հեղինակ, երաժիշտ, երգահան Պետրոս Շուժունյանը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ սա Հայաստանից դուրս Ցեղասպանության 100-ամյակին ձոնված միակ ստեղծագործությունն է, որ հինգ տարվա աշխատանք է պարփակել և եզակի է իր լայնածավալությամբ և տարողությամբ:

Երաժիշտ, երգահան Պետրոս Շուժունյանն շուրջ 50 տարի երաժշտության ոլորտում է:  Պետրոս Շուժունյանը ծնվել է 1957 թ-ին Գյումրիում: Ավարտել է Կոմիտասի անվան երաժշտական դպրոցը, այնուհետև ընդունվել է Կարա-Մուրզայի անվան երաժշտական ուսումնարանը, ստեղծագործության և ջութակի դասարան, այնուհետև 3-րդ կուրսից մեկնել է Կանադա: 1976 թ-ին Շուժունյանը ընդունվել է Մոնրեալի պետական կոնսերվատորիա և ուսանել կանադացի հայտնի երգահան Ժիլ Թրամբլեյի դասարանում:  Շուժունյանը սկսել է ստեղծագործել երիտասարդ տարիքից: Նա հեղինակ է 100-ից ավելի ստեղծագործությունների , այդ թվում՝ «Արարատ պոեմ» սիմֆոնիկը, «Կոմիտասին», «Սայաթ-Նովա» հարվածային համերգային փունջը, 6 լարային քառյակ՝ ներշնչված հայ շարականներից, «Մաշտոց» զույգ դաշնամուրային գործը, «Երեք մինիատյուր» գրված լարային քառյակի համար և այլն:
