«Ֆեյսբուք» սոցիալական ցանցի հիմնադիր Մարկ Ցուկերբերգը սեպտեմբերի 15-ին հայտարարել է, որ այսուհետ Ֆեյսբուքը կունենա այդքան սպասված dislike` չհավանել կոճակը: Ինչպես հայտնում է Արմենպրեսը, վկայակոչելով BBC-ին, Ցուկերբերգն ասել է, որ այն թույլ կտա մարդկանց արտահայտել իրենց ցավակցությունը:

Նա նշել է, որ «Ֆեյսբուք»-ը շատ մոտ է այդ ֆունկցիայի տեստավորմանը և դեռևս 2009 թվականից, երբ նոր ոճի like կոճակը թողարկվեց, որոշ օգտատերեր սկսեցին պահանջել նաև dislike ֆունկցիան: «Հարյուրավոր մարդիկ խնդրել են այս մասին, և այսօր յուրահատուկ օր է, երբ պետք է ասեմ, որ մենք աշխատում ենք դրա վրա և շատ մոտ ենք դրա փորձարկմանը»,-ասել է Ցուկերբերգը:

Նա ընդգծել է այն փաստը, որ չհավանելու կոճակը չպետք է ծառայի որպես այլոց հրապարակումները ցածր գնահատելու մեխանիզմ: Նրա խոսքով՝  dislike կոճակը «տխուր» առիթներով արված հրապարակումներին համապատասխան վերաբերմունք արտահայտելու համար է:
