ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն սեպտեմբերի 16-ին ընդունել է Չեխիայի Հանրապետության Սենատի փոխնախագահ Զդենեկ Շկրոմախի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրին՝ Նախագահը բարձր է գնահատել նրա անձնական ներդրումը հայ-չեխական բարեկամության ամրապնդման գործում: Սերժ Սարգսյանը երախտագիտություն է հայտնել Զդենեկ Շկրոմախին, ինչպես նաև չեխական խորհրդարանական պատվիրակության բոլոր այն անդամներին, ովքեր ս.թ. ապրիլի 24-ին Երևանում մասնակցել են Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի հիշատակի միջոցառումներին: Սերժ Սար գսյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել նաև խորհրդարանի Պատգամավորների պալատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովին՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ բանաձևը միաձայն ընդունելու համար:

Հանրապետության Նախագահը հույս է հայտնել, որ Չեխիայի Սենատի փոխնախագահի այցը նոր խթան կհանդիսանա հայ և չեխ ժողովուրդների միջև հարաբերություններն ավելի ջերմացնելու, միջխորհրդարանական կապերն ավելի ակտիվացնելու համար: Սերժ Սարգսյանը մեծապես կարևորել է խորհրդարանական դիվանագիտության դերը միջպետական հարաբերությունների զարգացման գործում՝ ինչպես երկկողմ, այնպես էլ բազմակողմ հարթակներում և գոհունակությամբ նշել, որ հատկապես Եվրոպայի խորհրդում չեխ պատգամավորներից շատերն արդյունավետորեն համագործակցում են Հայաստանի պատվիրակության անդամների հետ:

Զդենեկ Շկրոմախը իր և չեխ պատգամավորների համար մեծ պատիվ է համարել Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի կապակցությամբ Հայաստան այցելելը և ապրիլյան այդ օրերին հայ ժողովրդի կողքին լինելը: Նա համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ երկու պետությունների միջև տարբեր մակարդակներով՝ նախագահների, խորհրդարանների, կառավարությունների, համագործակցությունը կշարունակվի և ավելի կամրապնդվի:

Հանդիպմանը զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են նաև հայ-չեխական առևտրատնտեսական փոխգործակցության զարգացման հնարավորություններին, ՀՀ սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների գործընթացին, տարածաշրջանային խնդիրներին ու մարտահրավերներին, այդ թվում՝ ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորման գործընթացին:
