Ամերիկյան «Ստրատֆոր» (Stratfor) մասնավոր վերլուծական կենտրոնի  «Փոքր պետություններին Ռուսաստանի հովանավորության ռիսկերն ու տրամաբանությունը» վերլուծության թեզիսները` կապված ԼՂ հակամարտության հետ, իրականության հետ կապ չունեն, իսկ նախանշված վտանգները չափազանցված են:

‹‹Արմենպրես››-ի հետ զրույցում ԼՂՀ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանը շեշտում է, որ, ընդհակառակը, եթե Ռուսաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի հարաբերությունները լավանան եւ տնտեսական ոլորտում երկրները հյամագործակցեն, դա ավելի կնվազեցնի հակամարտության գոտում լարվածության վերաճումը: ‹‹Իրականում, եթե ՌԴ-ն եւ Ադրբեջանը հարաբերությունները լավացնեն, ապա առաջին հերթին Ռուսաստանին ձեռնտու չի լինի, որ այդ հատվածում ռազմական գործողություններ, լարվածություն լինի, քանի որ Ռուսաստանը կկրի տնտեսական կորուստներ›&r saquo;,- ասաց Դավիթ Բաբայանը:

Ինչ վերաբերում է ռուս խաղաղապահներին եւ նրանց տեղակայմանը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում, Բաբայանն ասաց, որ նման հարցի շուրջ, այն էլ խորհրդանշական հենքի վրա, կարելի է խոսել միայն հեռավոր ապագայում:

«Մենք բազմիցս հայտարարել ենք ու շարունակում ենք կրկնել, որ խաղաղապահների հարցը հնարավոր կլինի քննարկել, եթե հակամարտությունը կարգավորվի, եթե Ադրբեջանը ճանաչի Արցախի անկախությունը, Արցախի սահմանները եւ միայն այդ ժամանակ, այն էլ կարծում եմ սիմվոլիկ, կարելի է քննարկել խաղաղապահների տեղակայման հարցը: Սակայն այդ պարագայում էլ արդեն խաղաղապահների տեղակայման հարցն անիմաստ կլինի, քանի որ երկու երկրների զինված ուժերը կարողանում են առանց միջնորդության պահպանել երկրի սահմաններն ու զինադադարը»,- ասաց Դավիթ Բաբայանը:

Ամերիկյան «Ստրատֆոր» (Stratfor) մասնավոր վերլուծական կենտրոնը սեպտեմբերի 15-ին մի վերլուծական է հրապարակել «Փոքր պետություններին Ռուսաստանիհովանավորության ռիսկերն ու տրամաբանությունը» վերնագրով։ Նյութի հիմնական թեզն այն է, որ Ուկրաինայից մինչև Սիրիա` Ռուսաստանը փորձում է վերականգնել իր ռազմավարական դիրքերը՝ օգտագործելով չճանաչված պետությունները (կամ, Սիրիայի պարագայում, Ասադի վերահսկած տարածքը) որպես իր ազդեցությանտարածման հարթակ։ Այդպիսի մի հարթակ էլ ներկայացնում է Արցախը եւ շեշտում, որ Ռուսաստանը հայ-ադրբեջանական լայնամասշտաբ ռազմականգործողություններ կհրահրի, հետո կմտցնի խաղաղապահ ուժեր, ինչից հետո կհանձնի Արցախը Ադրբեջանին, որպեսզի Ադրբեջանն իր լիակատար ազդեցության տակներառի։
