 Արմատական ձախ ուժերի կոալիցիայի (ՍԻՌԻԶԱ) առաջնորդ Ալեքսիս Ցիպրասը ժողովրդին խնդրել Է իրեն առաջիկա չորս տարում երկրի կառավարման հզոր մանդատ տալ: Այս մասին նախկին վարչապետը հայտարարել Է եզրափակիչ զանգվածային նախընտրական հանրահավաքում, որը տեղի Է ունեցել «Սինթագմա» («Սահմանադրության») հրապարակում՝ Հունաստանի խորհր դարանի շենքի մոտ, տեղեկացնում Է Արմենպրեսը:  

«Մենք ցանկանում ենք ստանալ չորս տարվա ընթացքում (երկրի) կառավարման հզոր մանդատ, որպեսզի ավարտենք մեր սկսած աշխատանքը»,- ընդգծել Է Ցիպրասը հազարավոր հավաքվածների ծափահարությունների ներքո: Նախկին վարչապետի կարծիքով՝ «Հունաստանում ընտրությունների արդյունքները վճռական նշանակություն կունենան Եվրոպայում իրադարձությունների զարգացման համար»: Շաբաթ օրը երկրում պաշտոնապես կլինի «լռության օր» կիրակնօրյա ընտրություններից առաջ, սակայն պաշտոնապես դա չեն հայտարարում:

Սեպտեմբերի 19-ին հանրահավաքներ եւ ցույցեր արդեն չպետք Է լինեն, քարոզչություն չի թույլատրվում, թեեւ հեռուստաշոուներ վարողներին չի արգելվում հաղորդումներին հրավիրելու քաղաքական գործիչների եւ վերլուծաբանների, որպեսզի  հայտնեն իրենց կարծիքները, որոնք, այնուամենայնիվ, կարող են որոշակի ներգործություն ունենալ ընտրազանգվածի վրա, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
