Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է Արևելյան գործընկերության երկրներում տարածաշրջանային և տեղական իշխանությունների կոնֆերանսի համանախագահ Մարկկու Մարկկուլայի հետ: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել է նաև Հայաստանի համայնքների միության նախագահ Էմին Երիցյանը:

Առանձնակի կարևորելով Արևելյան գործընկերության երկրներում տարածաշրջանային և տեղական իշխանությունների կոնֆերանսի բյուրոյի նիստի և համաժողովի Երևանում առաջին անգամ անցկացումը՝ քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը նկատել է, որ այն լավ հարթակ է տեղական իշխանությունների համար ինստիտուցիոնալ շրջանակների ամրապնդման առումով:

«Երևանի քաղաքապետարանը սերտորեն համագործակցում է Եվրամիության կառույցների հետ: Մենք կարևորում ենք Արևելյան գործընկերության շրջանակներում քաղաքների ուղղակի ֆինանսավորումը, մասնավորապես՝ էներգախնայողության, տրանսպորտի և մի շարք այլ ենթակառուցվածքների ոլորտներում: Վստահ եմ, որ «Արևելյան գործընկերության տարածաշրջանային և տեղական իշխանությունների համաժողովի» բյուրոյի նիստի և կոնֆերանսի աշխատանքները արդյունավետ էին, և համաժողովի շրջանակներում ընթացող փոխգործակցությունը կլինի շարունակական»,- ընդգծել է քաղաքապետը:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ Արևելյան գործընկերության երկրներում տարածաշրջանային և տեղական իշխանությունների կոնֆերանսի համանախագահ Մարկկու Մարկկուլան նշել է, որ կոնֆերանսի անցկացումը Երևանում իսկապես արդյունավետ էր, ու հույս է հայտնել, որ այն իր յուրովի դերակատարումը կունենան տեղական ինքնակառավարման համակարգում որոշակի զարգացումներ ունենալու հարցում:

«Մենք կարևորում ենք Արևելյան գործընկերության երկրներում համագործակցության ընդլայնումը, որն ուղղված է քաղաքների տնտեսական զարգացմանը, ապակենտրոնացված կառավարմանն ու Եվրամիության ֆինանսավորմամբ իրականացվող տարբեր ծրագրերի իրականացմանը: Մեր կառույցին այսօր անդամակցում են վեց երկրներ, այդ թվում՝ շուրջ 40 եվրոպական ռեգիոններ, և լիահույս եմ, որ նմանատիպ կոնֆերանսների ու գագաթնաժողովների անցկացումը կնպաստի տեղական իշխանությունների կառավարման հմտությունների կատարելագործմանը, այդ թվում նոր մոտեցումների կիրառման տեսանկյունից»,- նշել է Մարկկու Մարկկուլան:

Հանդիպման շրջանակում մեկ անգամ ևս կարևորելով քաղաքային տնտեսության կառավարման տարբեր ոլորտներում Եվրոպական Միության կառույցների հետ համագործակցության ընդլայնումը՝ քաղաքապետը նշել է, որ միջազգային կառույցների հետ սերտ համագործակցությունից բացի, վեջին տարիներին Երևանի քաղաքապետարանը լուրջ քայլեր է ձեռնարկում նաև եվրոպական պետությունների մայրաքաղաքների ու քաղաքների հետ երկկողմ համագործակցության շարունակական խորացման և ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ:
