Տանն Կիլիկիո Կաթողիկե Հայոց նորընտիր Ամենապատիվ և Գերերջանիկ Կաթողիկոս-Պատրիարք Տեր Գրիգոր Պետրոս Ի-ն, ով Հայաստան է ժամանել ՀՀ նախագահի  հրավերով՝ մասնակցելու Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված ձեռնարկները համակարգող պետական հանձնաժողովի նիստին, այցելել է ՀՀ  սփյուռքի նախարարություն:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարության լրատվական ծառայությունից, ողջունելով բարձրաստիճան հյուրին՝ նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանը շնորհավորել է նրան Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկե հայոց Կաթողիկոս-Պատրիարք ընտրվելու առթիվ և ուրախություն հայտնել, որ նա նոր կարգավիճակով այցելել է ազատ ու անկախ Հայաստանի Հանրապետություն:

Նախարարը նորընտրիր Կաթաղիկոսին տեղեկացրել է, որ Սփյուռքի նախարարությունը սերտորեն համագործակցում է Հայաստանի Հայ կաթողիկե եկեղեցու հետ և դրվատանքով խոսել առաջնորդ Ռաֆայել արքեպիսկոպոս Մինասյանի նվիրյալ աշխատանքի մասին: Նա մասնավորապես առանձնացրել է սիրիահայությանն աջակցելու  համատեղ նախաձեռնությունները, ինչպես նաև Զմմառի եկեղեցու մատենադարանի ձեռագրերի թվայնացման աշխատանքները, ինչի շնորհիվ մշակութային այդ թանկարժեք նմուշները փրկվել են ոչնչացումից և հասանելի դարձել ապագա սերունդներին: Նախարարը հույս է հայտնել, որ թվայնաց ված ձեռագրերի կրկնօրինակները երբևէ տեղ կգտնեն նաև Երևանի Մեսրոպ Մաշտոցի անվան հին ձեռագրերի ինստիտուտ մատենադարանում՝ այդ կերպ ևս հասու դառնալով ուսումնասիրողներին և այցելուներին:  Նախարարը երախտագիտությամբ է խոսել նաև Հայ կաթողիկե եկեղեցու առաջնորդների ունեցած անգնահատելի դերի մասին՝ Հոռմի պապ Ֆրանցիսկոսի՝  Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման առթիվ Վատիկանի Սուրբ Պետրոսի տաճարում արտասանած ճառի մասին, որը շրջադարձային կարող է լինել Հայող ցեղասպանության ճանաչման գործընթացի համար:

Կաթողիկոս-Պատրիարքը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ ընդունելության համար և ասել, որ մեծապես գնահատում է հայապահպանությանն ի նպաստ իրականացվող Սփյուռքի նախարարության գործունեությունը և պատրաստ է շարունակել գործակցությունը անհրաժեշտ ծրագրերի իրականացման համար:

Զրույցի ավարտին նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանը Ամենապատիվ և Գերերջանիկ Տեր Գրիգոր Պետրոս Ի Կաթողիկոս-Պատրիարքին է նվիրել հայ մանրանկարչության կրկնօրինակ՝ ի հիշատակ Սփյուռքի նախարարություն կատարած նրա այցելության:
