 ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը սեպտեմբերի 23-ին ընդունել է Թուրքմենստանի Մեջլիսի նախագահի տեղակալ Կուրբանգյուլ Բայրամովայի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը: Ինչպես Արմենպրեսին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը բարձր է գնահատել հայ եւ թուրքմեն ժողովուրդների բարեկամությունըÕ նշելով, որ երկու երկրների բազմակողմ հարաբերությունները զարգանում են դինամիկ եւ փոխշահավետ: Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն անհրաժեշտ է համարել առավել սերտացնել երկու խորհրդարանների՝ հատկապես բարեկամական խմբերի միջեւ գործակցությունն ու փոխայցերը, տարբեր ոլորտներում փորձի փոխանակումը:

ԱԺ փոխնախագահն անդրադարձել է տարածաշրջանային խնդիրներին եւ շնորհակալություն հայտնել Թուրքմենստանին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հիմնախնդրի հարցում ցուցաբերած հավասարակշռված դիրքորոշման համար: Նա մեկ անգամ եւս ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը հիմնախնդրի կարգավորումն ակնկալում է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակում՝ խաղաղ բանակցությունների միջոցով, ինչը չի կարելի ասել հարեւան Ադրբեջանի մասին:

Խոսելով հայ-թուրքական հարաբերություններից՝ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը նկատել է, որ Հայաստանը կողմ է սահմանների բացմանը՝ առանց նախապայմանների: «21-րդ դարը սահմանների բացման դար է, բացման՝ առանց նախապայմանների. նախապայմանները չեն խոսում ժողովրդավարության մասին», -ասել է ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:

Թուրքմենստանի Մեջլիսի նախագահի տեղակալ Կուրբանգյուլ Բայրամովան, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար, իր հերթին նշել է երկու երկրների փոխշահավետ համագործակցության մասին եւ նկատել, որ մեծ ներուժ կա հարաբերություններն ընդլայնելու առումով: Նա տեղեկացրել է, որ Թուրքմենստանն ուսումնասիրում է տարբեր ոլորտներում Հայաստանի փորձը եւ կիրառում: Տարածաշրջանային խնդիրներին անդրադառնալով՝ տիկին Բայրամովան նշել է խնդրի վերաբերյալ Թուրքմենստանի չեզոք դիրքորոշումը եւ հույս հայտնել, որ ԼՂ հիմնախնդիրը կլուծվի խաղաղ, բանակցա յին գործընթացի միջոցով:

Զրուցակիցները պատրաստակամություն են հայտնել առավել զարգացնելու եղբայրական երկրների հարաբերությունները ոչ միայն քաղաքական, այլեւ առեւտրատնտեսական, մշակութային, առողջապահության, կրթության եւ այլ ոլորտներում:
