Հայաստանի անկախության օրը` սեպտեմբերի 21-ին, Ինքնիշխանության երթից հետո դաժան ծեծի ենթարկված ազատամարտիկ Սմբատ Հակոբյանը, ով դեռ գտնվում է «Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ» հիվանդանոցում, արեց իր հերթական հայտարարությունը՝ իր դեմ կատարվածը որակելով որպես սպանության փորձ:

«Երկու օր է, ինչ դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել ու որոշ լրատվական կայքեր փորձում են այս միջադեպը, որը ես միջադեպ չեմ համարում, քանի որ սա սպանության փորձ է, ներկայացնել որպես կենցաղային հարց: Ինձ հետ նման կերպ են վարվել քաղաքական իմ գործունեության հետ կապված, նրանք փորձել են հաշվեհարդար տեսնել ու բառիս բուն իմաստով սպանել ինձ, ես այդ մասին այսօր արդեն համապատասխան մարմիններին եմ տեղյակ պահել: Նորից եմ հայտարարում՝ սա սպանության փորձ էր, որը կապված է իմ քաղաքական եւ հասարակական գործողությունների հետ: Դեպքը տեղի չի ունեցել անձնական հարցերը պարզաբանելու հետ կապված, այստեղ կենցաղային հարց չկա: Ես ոչ ոքի չեմ հայհոյել, որեւէ մեկի հետ անձնական հարց չունեմ, պարտքեր եւս չունեմ: Ես մարդու հետեւից կամ հեռախոսով չեմ հայհոյում, կարող եմ հեռախոսով հայհոյել միայն այն դեպքում, երբ դիմացինս է նման քայլի գնում, դա ադեկվատ պատասխան է: Շատ լրատվամիջոցներ փորձում են տակից ինչ-որ բաներ անել, ես չեմ ասել, որ Ռուբեն Հայրապետյանն է նման հրահանգ տվել, ես հայտարարել եմ, որ ես ճանաչել եմ Տիգրանին՝ որպես Ռուբեն Հայրապետյանի թիկնազորի անդամ, իսկ թե հիմա Հայրապետյանի մոտ է աշխատում, թե ոչ, չեմ կարող ասել: Ես Տիգրանի հետ որեւէ առիթի չեմ մասնակցել ու սեղան չեմ նստել: Մնացած հարցերի մասին դեռ կլռեմ՝ պահպանելով նախաքննության գաղտնիությունը»,- հայտարարել է ազատամարտիկը:

Տեղեկացնենք, որ կատարված հանցագործությունից ժամեր անց ՀՀ ոստիկանությունը բերման էր ենթարկել Ռուբեն Հայրապետյանի թիկնազորի նախկին աշխատակից Տիգրանին: Այս պահի դրությամբ կա ձերբակալված երեք անձ: Այսօր տեղի է ունեցել նաեւ առերեսում:
