Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումները համակարգող պետական հանձնաժողովի նիստում որոշում է կայացվել աշխատանքներ սկսել Համահայկական խորհրդի ձևավորման ուղղությամբ: Ինչպես լրագրողների հետ զրույցում հայտնեց պետական հանձնաժողովի գլխավոր համակարգող Վիգեն Սարգսյանը, որոշումը կայացվել է միաձայն: Նա հիշեցրեց, որ նախորդ տարի կայացած «Հայաստան-Սփյուռք» համաժողովի ժամանակ ՀՀ նախագահն առաջարկել է քննարկել այս հանձնաժողովի հենքի վրա մշտական գործող մարմին ստեղծելու գաղափարը: «Այն կդառնա աշխարհում հայերի վիճակին անդրադարձող խորհրդատվական հարթակ: Այս տարվա համատեղ աշխատանքը ցույց տվեց այդպիսի փոխգործակցության արդյունավետությունն ու նպատակահարմարությունը: Պետական հանձնաժողովի բոլոր անդամները միաձայն կողմ արտահայտեցին այդ ուղղությամբ աշխատանքներ կատարելուն»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` ասաց Վիգեն Սարգսյանը:

Նրա տեղեկացմամբ` նիստի ժամանակ ձևավորվեց հատուկ կազմակերպչական հանձնախումբ, որը կգլխավորի ՀՀ սահմանադրական դատարանի նախագահ Գագիկ Հարությունյանը, իսկ Վիգեն Սարգսյանը նշանակվել է հանձնախմբի քարտուղար: «Փոխգործակցելով բոլոր կառույցների, սփյուռքի համայնքների հետ` մենք կանենք հնարավորը մինչ հաջորդ տարվա սեպտեմբերի 20-ը` Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անկախության 25-րդ տարեդարձի նախաշեմը, կատարել նախապաստրաստական աշխատանքներ ու գումարել  Համահայկական խորհրդի առաջին նիստը»,-հայտնեց պաշտոնյան:

Հարցին ի պատասխան, թե արդոք, սեպտեմբերի 26-ին անցկացվում է պետական հանձնաժողովի վերջին նիստը` Վիգեն Սարգսյանն ասաց. «Պետական հանձնաժողովը ստեղծվել է 2011 թվականին ՀՀ նախագահի հրամանագրով և կավարտի իր աշխատանքը համապատասխան ակտը չեղյալ ճանաչելուց հետո միայն»: Վիգեն Սարգսյանը հավելեց, որ հանձնաժողովը դեռևս շարունակում է իր աշխատանքը, առաջիկայում հնարավոր են նիստեր, հեռակա կարգով աշխատանք: Նրա խոսքով` հնարավոր է հանձնաժողովը ևս մեկ նիստ ունենա, որը համընկնի Համահայկական խորհրդի առաջին նիստի հետ` նվիրված լինելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումների ամբողջական ամփոփմանը:
