Վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը Երևանում մասնակցել է Օլիմպիական ավանի բացմանը, որին ներկա են եղել Ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեների ասոցիացիայի նախագահ շեյխ Ահմադ Ալ-Ֆահադ Ալ-Սաբահը, Եվրոպայի օլիմպիական կոմիտեի նախագահ Պատրիկ Հիկեն, Հայաստանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեի (ՀԱՕԿ) նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը, պաշտոնատար անձինք, մարզաշխարհի ներկայացուցիչներ, հյուրեր:

Ինչպես Արմեոնպրես-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, կառավարության ղեկավարը շրջել է ավանով, ծանոթացել շուրջ 7500 քմ մակերեսի վրա ավելի քան 300 մարզիկի համար նախատեսված մարզաբազայում ստեղծված պայմաններին: Մարզաբազայում շրջայցի ժամանակ ներկայացվել են ըմբշամարտի, ձյուդոյի, թեքվանդոյի, բռնցքամարտի, ծանրամարտի և խաղային մարզաձևերի մարզադահլիճներն ու դրանց հնարավորությունները, սպորտային բժշկության և հակադոպինգային ծառայության կենտրոնները:

Օլիմպիական ավանի միջազգային չափորոշիչներին համապատասխանող հավաքական թիմերի կենտրոնում գործելու են մենապայքարային, ուժային, խաղային, ինչպես նաև ջրային մարզաձևերի դահլիճներ, իսկ հյուրանոցային մասնաշենքը նախատեսված է 320 մարզիկի համար: Մասնագիտացված մարզադահլիճներից բացի, մարզաբազայում գործելու են նաև լողավազան, բացօթյա մարզահրապարակներ և խաղահրապարակներ: Օլիմպիական ավանը կունենա մարզումների համար անհրաժեշտ բոլոր պայմանները:

Այնուհետև վարչապետի մասնակցությամբ շրջանառության մեջ է դրվել նաև ՀԱՕԿ-ի 25-ամյակին նվիրված նամականիշ:

Նախատեսվում է, որ Օլիմպիական ավան կտեղափոխվի Հայաստանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեի աշխատակազմը: Ավանի շինարարությունը սկսվել էր 2013 թվականից:
