 ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Էդ Ռոյսը և Ներկայացուցիչների անդամ Էլիոթ Էնգելսը նամակով կոչ են անում ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ Ջեյմս Ուորլիքին` ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում ցուցաբերած կեղծ հավասարության ձախողված քաղաքականությունը փոխելու կառոցողական, հաշվետվողականության վրա հիմնված մոտեցմամբ: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախումբը դիմել է ամերիկահայությանը՝  խնդրելով կապվել իրենց օրենսդիների հետ և նրանց հոդորել միանալ  Ռոյսին և Էնգելսին:

ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականներն իրենց նամակում առաջ են քաշում երեք կետ, որոնք կարող է օգնել կանխել պատրեազմը, փրկել մարդկանց կայնքեր և հասնել արդար ու երկարաժամկետ խաղաղության:  Օրոնսդիրներ առաջարկում են հակամարտության բոլոր կողմերին համաձայնություն կնքել շփման գծից դիպուկահարների դուրս բերման մասին, շփման գծում տեղադրել ԵԱՀԿ-ի կողմից վերահսկվող առաջադեմ համակարգեր և սարքեր, որոնցով հնարավոր կլինի պարզել կրակոցների արձակման վայրը և ավելացնել ԵԱՀԿ դիտորդների թիվը՝ զինադադարի խախտումներն ավելի լավ արձանագրելու համար:
