Վարակիչ հիվանդությունների կանխարգելման նպատակով առողջապահության նախարարությունը ներդնում է նոր պատվաստումներ: Այս նպատակով սեպտեմբերի 16-ից Հայաստանի պատվաստումների ցանկը համալրվելու է նոր՝ պնևմակոկային վարակների դեմ պատվաստումներով:
Թոքաբորբերը և շնչառական այլ հիվանդությունները աշխարհում տարեկան ավելի քան 2 մլն երեխայի մահվան պատճառ են դառնում: Փորձագետների համոզմամբ երեխաների կյանքի առաջին տարվա ընթացքում մահվան դեպքերի գերազանց մեծամասնության պատճառը մանրէային թոքաբորբն է, որի հիմնական պատճառը պնևմակոկային հարուցիչն է: Պնևմակոկային հարուցիչը ոչ միայն թոքաբորբի, այլև այլ ծանր ընթացքով մանրէային հիվանդությունների, մասնավորապես՝ մենինգիտի (ուղեղի թաղանթի բորբոքում) և բակտերեմիայի առաջացման գլխավոր պատճառներից մեկն է, մասնավորապես՝ վաղ հասակի երեխաների և տարեցների մոտ:
ԱՀԿ տվյալներով աշխարհում տարեկան գրանցվում է մոտ 1 մլն պնևմակոկային մենինգիտի դեպք, որից մոտ 200.000–ն ավարտվում է անբարեհաջող ելքով: Պնևմակոկային վարակներին բնորոշ է բնակչության ավելի քան 50-70%-ի մոտ առողջ մանրէակրության զարգացումը: Վարակը հիմնականում փոխանցվում է օդա-կաթիլային ճանապարհով: Հիվանդացության պիկը գրանցվում է աշնանն ու ձմռանը, սակայն գրանցվում են միայն եզակի դեպքեր, իսկ բռնկումներ հազվադեպ են լինում: Հաստատվել է ուղղակի կապը սեզոնային սուր շնչառական վիրուսային և պնևմակոկային վարակներով (մասնավորապես' թոքաբորբերի) հիվանդացության բարձրացումների միջև։ Մասնավորապես' սեզոնային սուր շնչառական վարակները էականորն բարձրացնում են պնևմակոկային վարակների զարգացման ռիսկը :
Ընդհանուր առմամբ, պնևմակոկային հարուցիչով առաջացած հիվանդությունների համաճարակաբանական տվյալները խիստ սուղ են՝ պայմանավորված պնևմակոկերի լաբորատոր ախտորոշման դժվարություններով, ինչպես նաև հակամանրէային դեղամիջոցների լայնածավալ կիրառմամբ:
Հարկ է նշել, որ Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը յուրաքանչյուր երկրի համար կանխատեսել է պնևմակոկային վարակով պայմանավորված մահերի հաշվարկային ցուցանիշը: Հայաստանի համար հաշվարկային այդ ցուցանիշը մինչև 5 տարեկան 100,000 երեխայի հաշվարկով կազմում է 10-ից մինչև 100, այսինքն' առկա մոտ 200 000 մինչև 5 տարեկան երեխաների շրջանում պնևմակոկային վարակի պատճառով Հայաստանում կարող է արձանագրվել տարեկան առնվազն 20-200 մահվան դեպք:
Պնևմակոկային վարակների դեմ ամենարդյունավետ և տնտեսապես շահավետ կանխարգելիչ միջոցը պատվաստումներն են: Այս մասին է վկայում աշխարհի փորձը:
Ամերիկյան մայրցամաքի և եվրոպական երկրներում մինչ կոնյուգացված պնևմակոկային պատվաստումների իրականացումը վաղ հասակի երեխաների շրջանում մոտ 80% դեպքերում ինվազիվ (մանրէային) հիվանդությունների պատճառը պնևմակոկերն էին: Պնևմակոկային պատվաստումների ներդրումից հետո գրեթե բոլոր երկրներում մինչև 2 տարեկան երեխաների շրջանում պնևմակոկային հիվանդությունների մակարդակը նվազել է 70%-ով: Նվազում է դիտվել բոլոր տարիքային խմբերում, այդ թվում' պատվաստման ոչ ենթակա ազգաբնակչության շրջանում: Հատկանշական է 65 տարեկան և բարձր տարիքային խմբում պնևմակոկային հիվանդությունների նվազումը: Այս օրինաչափությունը պայմանավորված է պնևմակոկային պատվաստումների ներդրումից հետո տարիների ընթացքում արտաքին միջավայրում հարուցչի պասիվ շրջանառության և բնակչության շրջանում կոլեկտիվ անընկալության զարգացման հետ:
Վերջին տարիներին Հայաստանի նոր ներդրված բոլոր պատվաստումների արդյունքում դիտվել են շոշափելի արդյունքներ։ Հնգավալենտ պատվաստումների շնորհիվ զգալիորեն նվազել են մենինգիտները (ուղեղի թաղանթի բորբոքում), ռոտավիրուսային պատվաստումների արդյունքում' ռոտավիրուսային վարակները և այլն։ Ակնկալվում է, որ շատ շուտով տեսանելի կլինեն նաև պնևմակոկային պատվաստումներով պայմանավորված թոքաբորբերի և մենինգիտների նվազումը' դրանով իսկ վերահսկելով մանկական մահացությունը և նպաստելով վերջինիս կայուն նվազեցմանը:
