Свадьба Джастин и Кэрол с первого взгляда не отличалась от других торжественных свадебных событий. Все было очень красиво, молодожены готовились поклясться друг другу в вечной любви.

Свидетелем Джастина был пес Габи. Они познакомились несколько лет назад, когда Джастину приставили пса в качестве помощника, поскольку Джастин получил травмы в военных действиях.

Джастин вспоминает: “Я служил в воздушно-десантных войсках в Афганистане в 2012 году. Рядом со мной взорвалось самодельное взрывное устройство, которое полностью разрушило мой грузовик. Сильно пострадало мое бедро, из-за чего пришлось впоследствии ампутировать левую ногу”.

“Чем меньше я пользуюсь инвалидным креслом, тем больше нуждаюсь в помощи от Габи. Он помогает мне во всем. Даже когда я по утрам надеваю протез, Габи подает мне специальную смазку”.

“Когда мне нужно передохнуть, Габи тут как тут. Я могу опереться на него в трудную минуту. Если я падаю, то пес всегда бежит ко мне, стараясь предотвратить падение или смягчить удар”.
