Ֆուտբոլի Հայաստանի ազգային թիմի գլխավոր մարզչի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար Սարգիս Հովսեփյանի կարծիքով` Հայաստանի ազգային թիմը մեծ ցանկություն ունի մրցաշարն ավարտել հաղթանակով:

«Հասկանում ենք, որ այլևս խնդիրներ չունենք լուծելու: Մենք պետք է վերգատնենք մեր խաղը: Եթե լավ խաղանք, ապա կարող ենք նաև հաղթել, բայց սա ֆուտբոլ է, և կարող ենք նաև պարտվել: Չկա մի հավաքական, որը չի կարող պարտվել: Ոչ մեկ չի կարող մեկ օր առաջ ասել, որ իր թիմը հաղթելու է:

Ամեն ինչ անում ենք, որ, գեղեցիկ խաղի հետ մեկտեղ, հաղթենք: Եթե մի մարզիկ  կամ հավաքական պարտվում է, ապա դա չի նշանակում, որ իր պատվի հետ ինչ-որ մեկը խաղում է: Մենք շատ ենք ուզում հաղթել Ալբանիային և ամեն ինչ անելու ենք դրա համար»,-նախախաղային մամուլի ասուլիս ժամանակ նշեց Հովսեփյանը: Նա վստահեցրեց, որ թիմն ամեն ինչ անելու է արդյունքի հասնելու համար:

«Ֆրանսիայի հետ խաղում մենք ավելի իրական հնարավորություն ունեինք գոլ խփելու, քան ֆրանսիացիները: Փոփոխություններից հետո խաղի մակարդակը ընկավ: Պարտության համար մեղավոր է նաև գլխավոր մարզիչը, մեղավոր եմ նաև ես»,- շեշտեց նա:
