 Աշխարհի երկրորդ ամենահին` Օքսֆորդի համասլարանի Բոդլեյան գրադարանը պատրաստվում է պատմության մեջ առաջին անգամ ցուցադրության հանել հայկական հազվագյուտ ձեռագրերի և տպագիր գրականության իր հավաքածուն: «Հայաստան.  հարակայուն մշակույթի ձեռագրերը» խորագիրը կրող ցուցահանդեսը նվիրված է  հայ ժողովրդի 2500-ամյա պատմությանը և  մշակույթին: Ինչպես տեղեկացրեց Բոդլեյան գրադարանի հասարակայնության հետ կապի և հաղորդակցության բաժնի պատասխանատու Էլեյն Բայբլը, հանրությանը կներկայացվեն հայկական ձեռագրերի, տպագիր գրականության, հայկական համայնքի կիրառական արվեստի և հոգևոր իրերի 100-ից ավելի նմուշներ, ինչպես գրադարանի, այնպես էլ մասնավոր հավաքածուներից, որոնք պահվել են Հայաստանում, Նիդերլանդներում և Միացյալ Թագավորությունում:

Ցուցադրությունն այցելուների առաջ իր դռները կբացի հոկտեմբերի 23-ին:

Բոդլեյան գրադարանը Եվրոպայի ամենահին գրադարաններից է, իսկ Միացյալ Թագավորությունում, Բրիտանական գրադարանից հետո, մեծությամբ երկրորդն է՝ իր 11 միլիոն նմուշով։ Գրադարանը գլխավորապես գործում է որպես գրադարան-ընթերցասրահ, և այնտեղ պահվող փաստաթղթերը հիմականում չեն կարող դուրս հանվել ընթերցասենյակներից։ Գրադարանն ունի հայերեն ձեռագրերի և գրքերի բավական հարուստ հավաքածու։ Ցուցակներում պահպանված նմուշների համաձայն՝ գրադարանն առաջին հայերեն ձեռագրիը ստացել է 1635 թ․ արքեպիսկոպոս Լաուդի կողմից։
