Բրիտանացիներն էլ, ամերիկացիներից ոչ պակաս, հիմնականում սնվում են ֆաստ–ֆուդով, ինչն էլ շատ աղջիկների գիրացման պատճառ է դառնում։ Նրանց թվում էր նաև 22–ամյա վաճառողուհի Ալեքսանդրա Քոլլինգսը, ով 140 կգ էր կշռում։ Աղջկա կյանքում ճակատագրական եղավ այն պահը, երբ ընկերոջ ծողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ նա ուղղակի կոտրեց այն աթոռը, որի վրա փորձեց նստել։ Ալեքսանդարն որոշեց, ինչ գնով էլ լինի, նիհարել։

Անցավ 1,5 տարի և առաջվա գիրուկից ոչինչ չէր մնացել։ Աղջիկը նիհարել էր 64 կգ–ով։ Չնայած ընկերոջից բաժանվեց. վերջինիս հենց գիրուկներն էին դուր գալիս։ Բայց այսօր Ալեքսանդրան մենակ չէ։ Նոր զուգընկերը սիրում է նրան այնպիսին, ինչպիսին որ կա։
