ՀՀ կառավարության պահուստային ֆոնդից կհատկացվի 49 մլն դրամ` 2019 թվականին Տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների համաշխարհային համաժողովը Հայաստանում կազմակերպելու համար անհրաժեշտ երաշխիքային կանխավճարի իրականացումն ապահովելու նպատակով:

Այդ մասին որոշմաÕ ¶ նախագիծն ընդգրկվել է կառավարության հոկտեմբերի 15-ի նիստի օրակարգում:  

Ս.թ. մարտի 9-ին Տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների և ծառայությունների համաշխարհային ալյանսի, Ինֆորմացիոն տեխնոլոգիաների ձեռնարկությունների միության և «Յու Այ Թի Ի Էքսպո» ընկերության միջև ստորագրվել է 2019թ. Հայաստանում Տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների համաշխարհային համաժողովի անցկացման մասին համաձայնագիրը:

Տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների համաշխարհային համաժողովն իր շուրջն է համախմբում ՏՏ ոլորտի տարբեր երկրների բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներին, վերազգային կազմակերպությունների, համալսարանների և գիտահետազոտական կենտրոնների ղեկավարներին, հասարակական կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներին: Նախորդ տարիներին համաժողովն անցկացվել է Կանադայում, Նիդերլանդներում, Մալազիայում, ԱՄՆ-ում, Հունաստանում, Ավստրալիայում, Չինաստանում, Իսպանիայում, Ճապոնիայում, Անգլիայում, Ֆրանսիայում,Դանիայում և Մեքսիկայում:

ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարությունը մեծապես կարևորում է Հայաստանում 2019թ. Տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների համաշխարհային համաժողովի պատշաճ կազմակերպումը` հաշվի առնելով համաժողովի նշանակությունը միջազգային կառույցների և առաջատար տեխնոլոգիական ընկերությունների հետ համագործակցության խթանման, հայկական ՏՏ ոլորտի կարողությունների և ձեռքբերումների ներկայացման, ոլորտի տեղական ընկերությունների ՏՏ արտադրանքի, լուծումների և ծառայությունների արտահանման շուկաների ընդլայնման, օտարերկրյա ներդրումների ներգրավման գործում:

Հայաստանում WCIT 2019 համաժողովի անցկացման համար անհրաժեշտ կազմակերպչական ծախսերը (այդ թվում` մարքեթինգային և գովազդային ծախսեր, միջազգային խոսնակների համար ավիատոմսեր և կեցության ծախսեր, տարածքի վարձակալություն, թարգմանություն, սննդի, տրանսպորտային ծախսեր, մշակութային ծրագիր և այլն), ընդհանուր առմամբ, կկազմեն մոտ 2.93 մլն դոլար: Նախատեսվում է, որ WCIT 2019 համաժողովին կմասնակցեն 2000-2500 պատվիրակներ աշխարհի ավելի քան 80 երկրներից, և համաժողովի կազմակերպման ծախսերը կփոխհատուցվեն համաժողովին մասնակցության համար մասնակիցների կողմից վճարվելիք մասնակցության վճարների հաշվին, իսկ տնտեսված դրամական միջոցները  կուղղվեն պետական բյուջե:
