Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպության խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովում (ՀԱՊԿ ԽՎ) ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի պատվիրակության ղեկավար, ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը հոկտեմբերի 16-ին Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի Տավրիդյան պալատի ՀՀ ԱԺ ներկայացուցչությունում հանդիպում է ունեցել ՀԱՊԿ ԽՎ պատասխանատու քարտուղար Պյոտր Ռյաբուխինի հետ:

Ինչպես հաղորդեցին ԱԺ փոխնախագահի աշխատակազմից, հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել նաեւ ԱՊՀ ՄԽՎ-ում ՀՀ ԱԺ ներկայացուցիչ Հայկ Չիլինգարյանը:

ԱԺ փոխնախագահը նշել է, որ Հայաստանը` որպես ՀԱՊԿ-ում նախագահող երկիր, պատրաստ է սերտորեն համագործակցել գործընկերների հետ՝ ի նպաստ Հավաքական անվտանգության մասին պայմանագրի դրույթների ապահովման:

Անդրադառնալով տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության խնդիրներին՝ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը նշել է, որ Հայաստանը հանդես է գալիս ԼՂ հակամարտության բացառապես խաղաղ կարգավորման օգտին: ԱԺ փոխնախագահն իր մտահոգությունն է հայտնել առ այն, որ անցյալ ամիս Ադրբեջանի կողմից հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտման արդյունքում հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի երկայնքով եւ ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում արձանագրվել է լարվածության աճի միտում:

ՀԱՊԿ ԽՎ-ում ՀՀ ԱԺ պատվիրակության ղեկավարն արձանագրել է, որ Ադրբեջանի սադրիչ քաղաքականությունը կարող է լուրջ վնաս հասցնել բանակցային գործընթացին: ԱԺ փոխնախագահը կարեւորել է ՀԱՊԿ ԽՎ գործընկերների կողմից Ադրբեջանի ապակառուցողական դիրքորոշման դատապարտումը: Զրուցակիցներն անընդունելի են համարել հակամարտությունների լուծման ուժային մեթոդները:

Հանդիպման ավարտին Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն առաջարկել է գալիք տարվա գարնանը ՀԱՊԿ անդամ պետությունների պաշտպանության նախարարների համատեղ նիստն անցկացնել Երեւանում:
