Երևանում մեկնարկել է Մոսկվայի Միջազգային հարաբերությունների պետական ինստիտուտի (ՄԳԻՄՕ) շրջանավարտների երրորդ միջազգային ֆորումը: Միջոցառմանը մասնակցում են ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը և արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` Նախագահ Սարգսյանը, ողջունելով ներկաներին ընդգծեց, որ Հայաստանի համար մեծ պատիվ է իր հարկի տակ ընդունել նման կարևոր միջոցառումը: Սերժ Սարգսյանը կարևորեց ՄԳԻՄՕ-ի դերը Հայաստանի համար որակյալ կադրեր պատրաստելու գործում: Իր ելույթում Սերժ Սարգսյանն անդրադարձավ նաև հայ-ռուսական հարաբերություններին, ինչպես նաև միջազգային կազմակերպությունների ու Արևմուտքի հետ Հայաստանի համագործակցությանը: Նախագահը կարևորեց այն հանգամանքը, որ Հայաստանն առաջիկա 4 տարիների ընթացքում ստանձնել է Եվրասիական տնտեսական հանձնաժողովի կոլեգիայի նախագահությունը՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ այդ ընթացքում հնարավոր կլինի համատեղ ջանքերի շնորհիվ հաղթահարել բոլոր խնդիրները:

Սերժ Սարգսյանը նաև ընդգծեց, որ վերջին շրջանում Հայաստանն ակտիվացրել է համագործակցությունը Ասիայի և խաղաօվկիանոսյան տարածաշրջանի երկրների հետ՝ հիշեցնելով, որ բոլորովին վերջերս այցելել է Չինաստան, որի ընթացքում ձեռք են բերվել մի շարք կարևոր պայմանավորվածություններ, որոնք կարևոր են ոչ միայն Հայաստանի, այլ նաև Եվրասիական ողջ տարածաշրջանի համար:

Նախագահն անդրադարձավ նաև Հայաստանում սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների գործընթացին՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանը ցանկանում է անցում կատարել կառավարման խորհրդարանական համակարգին: Նա նշեց, որ բարեփոխումների արդյունքում հստակ կտարանջատվեն իշխանությունների թևերը, կբարձրանա ընդդիմության դերը:

Սերժ Սարգսյանն անդրադարձավ Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման կարևորությանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ հարկավոր է անել ամեն ինչ, որպեսզի մարդկության դեմ հանցագործությունները այլևս երբեք չկրկնվեն: «Հայաստանը շնորհակալ է բոլոր այն երկրներին, որոնք միացել են դեկտեմբերի 9-ը որպես Ցեղասպանությունների դեմ պայքարի օր սահմանելու Հայաստանի նախաձեռնությանը»,- ընդգծեց նախագահը:

Միջոցառմանը մասնակցելու նպատակով Հայաստան են ժամանել 300-ից ավելի մասնակիցներ շուրջ 40 երկրներից: Բացման արարողությանը կհաջորդեն Մոսկվայի Լազարյան ճեմարանի 200-ամյակին նվիրված մի շարք միջոցառումներ։ Լազարյան ճեմարանը երկու կրթօջախներից մեկն է, որոնց հիման վրա կազմավորվել է ՄԳԻՄՕ-ն:

Ֆորումի բացման արարողությունից առաջ մասնակիցները Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիրում հարգել են Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը:
