 Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հոկտեմբերի 23-ին ընդունել է Մոսկվայի միջազգային հարաբերությունների պետական ինստիտուտի ռեկտոր Անատոլի Տորկունովին, ով Երևանում մասնակցում է Մոսկվայի միջազգային հարաբերությունների պետական ինստիտուտի շրջանավարտների երրորդ միջազգային ֆորումին: Հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել նաև Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Վասիլի Նեբենզյան:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Նախագահը ողջունել է հյուրերին, նշելով, որ ուրախ է հյուրընկալել նրանց Հայաստանում անցկացվող հեղինակավոր միջազգային վերոնշյալ ֆորումի շրջանակներում: Սերժ Սարգսյանը մեծապես կարևորել է Մոսկվայի միջազգային հարաբերությունների պետական ինստիտուտի առանձնահատուկ դերը բարձրորակ կադրերի՝ միջազգայնագետների և դիվանագետների պատրաստման գործում, այդ թվում՝ Հա յաստանի համար, որոնցից շատերը, ըստ Նախագահի, պետական, հասարակական, գիտական ասպարեզներում հասել են մեծ հաջողությունների:

Սերժ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է Անատոլի Տորկունովի ծանրակշիռ ներդրումը բուհի լավագույն ավանդույթների պահպանման գործում:

Հանդիպման ժամանակ Նախագահը ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության Մոսկվայի միջազգային հարաբերությունների պետական ինստիտուտի (համալսարանի) ռեկտոր, ակադեմիկոս Անատոլի Վասիլիի Տորկունովին պարգևատրել է ՀՀ բարձր պարգևով՝ Պատվո շքանշանով՝ հայ-ռուսական բարեկամության ամրապնդման և զարգացման, ինչպես նաև գիտակրթական կապերի խորացմանն ուղղված գործունեության համար:
