Ծափաթաղում գտնված խաչքարը հնագետ-պատմաբանների ուսումնասիրման կարիքն ունի

Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Ծափաթաղ գյուղի մասին առաջին հիշատակությունը պատկանում է միջնադարյան հայ նշանավոր պատմիչ Ստեփանոս Օրբելյանին, ով իր «Պատմություն Սիսական աշխարհի» գրքում թվարկել է Սյունյաց աշխարհի մաս կազմող Սևանի ավազանի բնակավայրերի անունները, այդ թվում' Սևանա լճի հյուսիսային ափին գտնվող Ծափաթաղ գյուղի անունը, որտեղ հազարամյակներ շարունակ ապրել և արարել է հայ ժողովուրդը: Սակայն, պատմական այլ աղբյուրների վկայությամբ, ուշ միջնադարում Ծափաթաղը ենթարկվում է մահմեդական քոչվոր ցեղերի ասպատակություններին, ինչը տևում է մինչև 1988 թվականի նոյեմբեր ամիսը: Տևական տիրապետության ընթացքում մահմեդականները Ծափաթաղից ջնջել են հայկականության հետքերը, սակայն գյուղի հարավարևելյան հատվածի բարձունքի գիհուտներում պահպանվել է անվավերագիր մի փոքրիկ խաչքար, որի կողքը նկատելի են ևս մի քանի գերեզմանաքարեր:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրեց Ծափաթաղի գյուղապետ Թագուհի Բոյախչյանը, անցած 26 տարում վերահայացած այս գյուղում առայժմ հայկական վավերագրության հուշարձաններ չեն հայտնաբերվել, և այս խաչքարը միակ հուշարձանն է, որ կարող է փաստել այստեղ հայ բնակչության ապրելու և արարելու մասին:»Խաչքարը գտել են Ծափաթաղ եկած հայ փախստականների առաջին խմբերը: Բայց թե այն ո՞ր դարով է թվագրվում, դժվար է ասել, քանի որ չկա որևէ գրավոր հիշատակություն: Գուցե այս հարցում մե զ կօգնեն հնագետ-պատմաբանները»,-նշեց Թագուհի Բոյախչյանը:

Մի քանի տարի առաջ հայ-իտալական հնագիտական միացյալ արշավախումբը Ծափաթաղի հարավային թևում հայտնաբերել է վաղ բրոնզեդարյան դարաշրջանի ամրոց, որի տարածքից գտնված հնագիտական նյութերն ուսումնասիրվում են հնագետների կողմից: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում հաստատեց ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության աշխատակազմի պատմական միջավայրի և մշակութային հուշարձանների պահպանության գործակալության Կոտայքի և Գեղարքունիքի տարածքային բաժնի գլխավոր մասնագետ Նորիկ Հազեյանը:
