Անդրեյ Բիտովը «Յասնայա պոլյանա» «Ժամանակակից կլասիկա» անվանակարգում մրցանակի դափնեկիր Է դարձել «Հայաստանի դասերը» գրքի համար: Այդ մասին մրցանակի հանձնման արարողության ժամանակ հայտնել Է մրցանակի ժյուրին, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով ՏԱՍՍ-ին:

Արձանիկը եւ դիպլոմը դափնեկրին հանձնել Է ՌԴ մշակույթի նախարար Վլադիմիր Մեդինսկին:

«Ժամանակակից կլասիկա» անվանակարգում կարճ ու երկար թերթիկներ չեն կազմվում, ժյուրիի անդամները միանգամից են ընտրում դափնեկրին: Այս տարի դափնեկիր Է դարձել Անդրեյ Բիտովը ավելի քան 40 տարի առաջ գրված «Հայաստանի դասերը» գրքի համար: Այն ժամանակ Բիտովը ԽՍՀՄ-ի գրողներից առաջինը բացահայտորեն եւ առանց վերապահումների խոսեց հայերի ցեղասպանության մասին ու դատապարտեց այն: Բիտովը Հայաստանի պատվավոր քաղաքացի Է եւ Երեւանի պետհամալսարանի պատվավոր դոկտոր:

«Ժամանակակից կլասիկա» անվանակարգում Անդրեյ Բիտովը դրամական մրցանակ Է ստացել 1,5 մլն ռուբլու չափով:

Անդրեյ Գեորգիի Բիտովը ծնվել Է Լենինգրադում: Ավարտել Է Լենինգրադի լեռնային ինստիտուտի երկրաբանահետախուզական ֆակուլտետը:

Գրել սկսել Է 1956 թվականից: Գրում Էր բանաստեղծություններ, կարճ պատմվածքներ, որոնք առաջին անգամ հրապարակվել են 1990-ական թվականներին: 1960-ից մինչեւ 1978 թվականը տպագրվել են նրա արձակի շուրջ տասը գիրք: 1978 թվականին ԱՄՆ-ում հրապարակվել Է Բիտովի «Պուշկինյան տուն» վեպը: 1988 թվականին մասնակցել Է ռուսական Պեն-ակումբի (միջազգային ասոցիացիա, որը միավորում Է պոետների, Էսսեիստների ու նովելիստների) ստեղծմանը, որի նախագահն Է դարձել 1991 թվականին:

«Յասնայա պոլյանա» ամենամյա համառուսական գրական մրցանակը, որը 2003 թվականին հիմնվել Է Լ.Ն.Տոլստոյի թանգարան-կալվածքի եւ Samsung Electronics ընկերության կողմից, ամենահեղինակավոր գրական պարգեւներից մեկն Է Ռուսաստանում: Մրցանակի ժյուրիի կազմում, որը գլխավորում Է գրողի ծոռնորդին՝ Վլադիմիր Իլյիչ Տոլստոյը, ընդգրկված են գրաքննադատ Լեւ Աննինսկին, գրող, գրականագետ Պավել Բասինսկին, արձակագիր Ալեքսեյ Վառլամովը, գրող, բանասիրական գիտությունների դոկտոր Եվգենի Վոդոլազկինը, հրապարակախոս Վալենտին Կուրբատովը, գրող Վլադիսլավ Օտրոշենկոն:

Տարբեր ժամանակներում տարբեր անվանակարգերում մրցանակի դափնեկիրներ են դարձել Անտոն Ուտկինը, Ալեքսեյ Իվանովը, Միխայիլ Տարկովսկին, Ռոման Սենչինը, Ֆազիլ Իսքանդերը, Վալենտին Ռասպուտինը, Յուրի Բոնդարեւը եւ ուրիշներ:
