ԱՄՆ-ը եւ Ռուսաստանը «ընդհանուր շատ բան ունեն» Սիրիայի իրադրության կարգավորման մոտեցումներում: Դա, ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հոկտեմբերի 28-ին հավաստել է ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերին՝ Վաշինգտոնի Քառնեգիի հիմնադրամում ծրագրային ճառով հանդես գալով Մերձավոր Արեւելքի խնդիրների շուրջ:

Այդ կապակցությամբ նա նշել է համաձայնությունը, որ «ներկայիս ստատուս-քվոն չի կարող պահպանվել», որ Սիրիայում «քաղաքական լուծումն» այլընտրանք չունի, որ անհրաժեշտ է ջախջախել «Իսլամական պետություն» ծայրահեղական կազմակերպությունը եւ «բացառել նրա հաղթանակի հնարավորությունը», որ Սիրիան պետք է պահպանել որպես միասնական եւ աշխարհիկ պետություն, հնարավորություններ ստեղծել փախստականների ու վերաբնակված անձանց վերադառնալու համար, Սիրիայի ժողովրդին հնարավորություն տալ «ինքնուրույն ընտրելու իր ղեկավարներին թափանցիկ, ա զատ ու արդար ընտրություններում՝ նոր սահմանադրության հիման վրա եւ երկրի բոլոր փոքրամասնությունների պաշտպանությամբ»:

«Այս հարցերում մենք բոլորս համաձայն ենք»,- ընդգծել է պետքարտուղարը՝ նկատի ունենալով «ԱՄՆ-ը, Ռուսաստանը եւ մյուս երկրները»:

Դրա հետ մեկտեղ նա վերստին հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանը Սիրիայում պայքարում է ոչ այնքան ծայրահեղականների դեմ, որքան աջակցում է Բաշար Ասադին: ԱՄՆ-ը նման մոտեցումը հակարդյունավետ է համարում եւ պնդում է Ասադի հեռացումն իշխանությունից:

«Մենք բոլորս համաձայն ենք, որ Սիրիային կարող է փրկել միայն քաղաքական կարգավորումը,- հավելել է Քերին:- Ուստի իմ ուղերձը ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Լավրովին, նախագահ Պուտինին եւ շահագրգիռ բոլոր կառավարություններին այն է, որ մեզանից յուրաքանչյուրը կարող է իր ավանդը ներդնել սիրիական աղետի դադարեցման գործում՝ քաղաքական անցման օգնությամբ, որն ավելի վաղ արդեն համաձայնեցվել է Ժնեւի կոմունիկեի շրջանակներում»:

Այս տրամադրությամբ է ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղարը մեկնում Վիեննա՝ մասնակցելու հոկտեմբերի 29-30-ին այնտեղ Սիրիայի շուրջ կայանալիք բազմակողմ հանդիպումներին: «Դա հերթական քայլը կլինի մասնակիցների ընդլայնվող շրջանակի հետ մեր քննարկումներում, ներառյալ Իրանը, որն առաջին անգամ կմիանա այդ բազմակողմ հանդիպումներին»,- հայտարարել է Քերին, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
