Չինացի եւ ամերիկացի գիտնականներն ստեղծել են դեղամիջոց, որը թույլ Է տալիս լյարդից եւ մարդու մարմնի այլ օրգաններից հեպատիտ C-ի վիրուսի ներկայության բոլոր հետքերը հեռացնել այն ընդունելուց ընդամենը երեք շաբաթ անց, ինչի մասին նրանք պատմել են Hepatology հանդեսում, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Հեպատիտ C-ն վիրուսային հիվանդություն Է, որն ախտահարում Է լյարդը եւ ի վերջո հանգեցնում Է լյարդի ցիռոզի ու մահվան: Այս հիվանդությունը ենթարկվում Է բուժման, բայց կիրառվող դեղորայքը գործում Է ոչ բոլորի վրա, առաջացնում Է կողմնակի ազդեցություններ եւ պահանջում Է գրեթե մեկ տարվա անընդհատ ընդունում եւ ոչ միշտ Է արդյունք տալիս: Գոյություն ունի հեպատիտ C-ի վիրուսի վեց տիպ, որոնցից ամենատարածվածը հաճախ հաջողվում Է ճնշել մեկ տարվա բուժումից հետո:    

Հոնկոնգի (Չինաստան) Լյարդի կենտրոնից Ջորջ Լաուն եւ նրա գործընկերները գտել են այս հիմնախնդրի պոտենցիալ լուծումը՝ մշակելով հատուկ խառնուրդ մի քանի հակահեպատիտային դեղերից, որն ընդամենը երեք շաբաթում մարդու օրգանիզմը մաքրում Է վիրուսի բոլոր հետքերից:  

Այդ պատրաստուկի աշխատանքն ստուգվել Է հեպատիտ C-ով վարակված 18 կամավորներից բաղկացած խմբի վրա, որոնցից բոլորը երեք շաբաթ անց բուժվել են հիվանդությունից, եւ վիրուսի բոլոր հետքերից լիովին ազատվել են 12 շաբաթ անց: Գիտնականների խոսքով՝ կողմնակի ազդեցությունները կա՛մ լիովին բացակայել են, կա՛մ Էլ եղել են նվազագույն:   

Այսօր, ինչպես պատմում Է Լաուն, հեպատիտ C-ից բուժման արժեքը գերազանցում Է 100 հազար ամերիկյան դոլարը: Գիտնականը հուսով Է, որ իր հայտնագործությունը թույլ կտա զգալիորեն նվազեցնել այն ծախսերը, որոնք մարդիկ եւ պետությունները կրում են «լուռ մարդասպանի» դեմ պայքարելիս, որից առայժմ հնարավոր չԷ պաշտպանվել պատվաստումների միջոցով, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
