 Արթիկի բժշկական կենտրոնում հոկտեմբերի 17-ին` ժամը 6:00-ին, նորածինը լույս աշխարհ է եկել առանց ծննդաբերական բարդությունների: Սակայն նորածնի վիճակը սկսել է վատանալ, գնալով սաստկացել են շնչառական անբարարության նշանները: Նորածին Մ. Մնեյանը ժամը 19:00-ի սահմաններում «Մուրացան» համալսարանական բժշկական կլինիկայի ռեանիմատոլոգի ուղեկցությամբ ռեանիմոբիլով տեղափոխվել է նույն կլինիկայի նորածնային վերակենդանացման բաժանմունք: Երեխայի շնչափողում խողովակ է դրվել և միացվել արհեստական շնչառության սարքին: Փոքրիկի կրծքավանդակի ռենտգեն հետազոտությամբ հայտնաբերվել է բնածին ծանր զարգացման արատ` ստոծանու ճողվածք ձախից` շնչահեղձություն առաջացնող օղակումով: Ներարգանդային կյանքում ստոծանու ոչ ճիշտ զարգացման արդյունքում ձախ գմբեթում առաջացած անցքով որովայնի խոռոչի օրգանները տեղակայվել էին կրծքավանդակում։ Ծնվելուց հետո դա պատճառ էր դարձել արագ զարգացող ծանր շնչառական անբավարարությ ան` կյանքին սպառնացող վտանգով:

Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարությունից, ախտորոշումից հետո նորածինն անմիջապես տեղափոխվել է «Սուրբ Աստվածամայր» բժշկական կենտրոնի վերակենդանացման բաժանմունք: Կյանքի ցուցումներով նույն օրը` ժամը 22:00-ին, փոքրիկը վիրահատվել է: 

Հայաստանում առաջին անգամ նորածինը ծնվելուց ժամեր անց ծայրահեղ ծանր վիճակում վիրահատվել է էնդոսկոպիկ եղանակով: Երկու 6մմ և 3մմ անցքերից կատարվել է թորակոսկոպիա` կրծքավանդակում տեղադրված գործիքներով բարակ և հաստ աղիների գալարները ներուղղվել են որովայնի խոռոչ և ստոծանու 4x3սմ դեֆեկտը փակվել է հանգուցային կարերով:

Վիրահատությունը կատարել են կրծքային վիրաբուժության բաժանմունքի վարիչ Դավիթ Դալլաքյանը և մանկական վիրաբուժական բաժանմունքի վարիչ Արա Կարապետյանը: Հետվիրահատական շրջանն ընթացել է հարթ, հոկտեմբերի 26-ին երեխան բավարար վիճակում դուրս է գրվել հիվանդանոցից:
