ԵՊՀ ռեկտոր Արամ Սիմոնյանը սեպտեմբերի 12-ին հյուրընկալել է Հայաստանում Չինաստանի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Տյան Չանչունին: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ԵՊՀ-ից, ՀՀ-ում իր դիվանագիտական ծառայության վերջին օրերն անցկացնող դեսպանի հետ հանդիպման նպատակն է եղել մինև այժմ եղած համագործակցության ամրապնդումը և նոր ծրագրերի քննարկումը:
«Մինչ Հայաստան գալս աշխատել եմ նաև Ալբանիայում, Բուլղարիայում և այլուր, բայց պետք է խոստովանեմ, որ ամենահանգիստը եղել է այստեղ. երբևէ որևէ խնդրի չեմ հանդիպել»,- ասել է դեսպան Չանչունը:
ԵՊՀ-ի և դեսպանատան միջև համագործակցությունն ունի երկար տարիների պատմություն: Ռեկտոր Արամ Սիմոնյանը վստահեցրել է, որ ակադեմիական մակարդակում այն արդեն տվել է իր պտուղները:
«Այս տարի մեզ մոտ ավելացել է չինարեն ուսումնասիրող ուսանողների թիվը, ինչը մեզ ուրախացնում է: Եվ արդեն մտածում ենք այդ լեզվի ուսուցումն ընդլայնելու մասին, որպեսզի այն ուսումնասիրելու հնարավորություն ունենան ոչ միայն Միջազգային հարաբերությունների և Արևելագիտության, այլև մյուս ֆակուլտետների ուսանողները»,- նշել է Արամ Սիմոնյանը:
Նա գոհունակությամբ է խոսել նաև վերջերս Ռուս բանասիրության ֆակուլտետի հետ իրականացրած ծրագրի մասին, որի շրջանակներում չինացի մի խումբ ուսանողներ այստեղ են սովորել ռուսերեն:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում Սիմոնյանը մտադրություն է հայտնել չինագիտությունը համալսարանում ավելի բարձր մակարդակով ուսումնասիրելու վերաբերյալ:
Դեսպան Չանչունն էլ հավելել է, որ Չինաստանի Կոնֆուցիոսի համալսարանը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել աջակցելու ինչպես մասնագետների տրամադրման ու վերապատրաստման, այնպես էլ տեխնիկական միջոցների առումով: Նա տեղեկացրել է, որ շուտով Երևանում բացվելու է չինական թեքումով դպրոց, որտեղ աշակերտներին, հանրակրթական մյուս առարկաներից բացի, խորությամբ կուսուցանվի նաև չինական մշակույթը, լեզուն և այլն:
