Այս պատմությունը պատահել է Կանադական Պրինս-Ջորջ քաղաքի մի բնակչուհու հետ: Սովորական մի օր Անջելա Շիմանսկին մեքենայով գնում էր իր երկու երեխաների հետ՝ 5-ամյա Լեկսիի և 3 ամսական Պիտերի: Կինը շատ հոգնած էր, և մի պահ նա քնով անցավ: Հենց այդ պահը դարձավ ճակատագրական…

Մեքենան կորցրեց կառավարումը և գնաց դեպի անդունդը: 12 մետր ներքև գլորվելուց հետո մեքենան հարվածեց ծառին և կախվեց անդունդի վրա…

Ընկնելու ընթացքում Լեկսին փակել էր աչքերը, իսկ երբ բացեց, տեսավ, որ մեքենան կախված է անդունդի վրա: Նրա կողքի մանկական նստատեղում լացում էր փոքրիկ Պիտերը, իսկ մայրիկն անգիտակից էր:

Ավտոճանապարհը գտնվում էր վերևում, և այնտեղից հնարավոր չէր տեսնել վթարի ենթարկված մեքենան: Այդ ժամանակ աղջիկը որոշեց գնալ օգնության հետևից: Նա մի կերպ դուրս եկավ մեքենայից և քարքարոտ ճանապարհով հասավ վերև: Շփոթված Լեկսին ձեռքով արեց իր կողքով անցնող մեքենային: Վարորդը կանգ առավ և անմիջապես փրկարարների կանչեց:

Դեպքի վայր հասնելով՝ բժիշկներն առաջին հերթին օգնություն ցույց տվեցին աղջկան: Ջախջախված մեքենային հասնելը, որում նրա մայրիկն ու եղբայրն էին, համարյա անհնար էր: Փրկարարները ստիպված եղան իջնել պարանների օգնությամբ և այդ միջոցով էլ վերև բարձրացնել Անջելային և Պիտերին: Տղայի մոտ արյուն էր լցվել ուղեղի մեջ, իսկ մայրիկի մոտ վնասվել էր ողնաշարը, և նրանց անմիջապես հասցրեցին հիվանդանոց:

Բարեբախտաբար Անջելայի և Պիտերի կյանքին այլևս վտանգ չի սպառնում, և նրանք դեպի լավն են գնում:

Բժիշկներն ասում են, որ կարողացել են նրանց ժամանակին օգնություն ցույց տան: Եթե մի փոքր ուշացնեին, նրանց անհնար կլիներ փրկել…

«Սա ուղղակի հրաշք է: Չեմ կարողանում հավատալ, որ իմ փոքրիկ Լեկսին կարողացել է մեզ փրկել: Ես հպարտանում եմ իմ աղջնակով և միշտ կհիշեմ նրա արարքը»,- ասում է Անջելան:
