Իտալական պարբերականը Ադրբեջանում իրավունքների խախտումների հանդեպ Եվրոպայի լռությունը պայմանավորում է տնտեսական շահերով

Ադրբեջանում տեղի ունեցած խորհրդարանական ընտրությունները, որոնք անցան ճնշումների ու բռնությունների քողի ներքո, իրականում պետք է լրջորեն անհանգստացնեին եվրոպական երկրներին՝ այդ թվում և Իտալիային: Սակայն տնտեսական շահերից ելնելով շատերը պարզապես աչք փակեցին Ադրբեջանի խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների արդյունքների վրա:

Re:Common-ը նշում է, որ ընտրություններից առաջ ավելի քան ակնհայտ էր այն, որ դրանք չեն լինելու ազատ և արդար: Պատահական չէ, որ ԵԱՀԿ-ն դեռևս օգոստոսին հրապարակել էր զեկույց այն մասին, որ անհրաժեշտ է երկիր ուղարկել 30 երկարաժամկետ և 350 կարճաժամկետ դիտորդների, մինչդեռ ադրբեջանական կառավարությունը հայտարարեց, որ պատրաստ է ընդունել միայն 6 երկարաժամկետ և 125 կարճաժամկետ դիտորդի: Արդյունքում ԵԱՀԿ-ն 20 տարվա մեջ առաջին անգամ հրաժարվեց դիտորդական խումբ ուղարկել Ադրբեջան:

Նույն ընթացքում Եվրախորհրդարանն ընդունեց բանաձև, որով հորդորում էր Եվրամիությանը կասցնել Ադրբեջանի ֆինանսավորումը՝ հաշվի առնելով երկրում մարդու իրավունքների կոպտագույն խախտումները: Արդյունքում Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի կուսակցությունը հաղթանակ տարավ ընտրություններում: Իտալական լրատվամիջոցի համոզմամբ՝ ընտրախախտումների հանդեպ եվրոպական երկրների լռությունը պայմանավորված է տնտեսական ու մասնավորապես էներգետիկ շահով: Re:Common-ը պարադոքսալ է համարում այն, որ Եվրոպական ներդրումային բանկը պատրաստ է խոշորագույն՝ 2 մլրդ եվրոյի ներ դրում կատարել Անդրատլանտյան գազատարի (TAP) կառուցումը ֆինանսավորելու համար:
