2015թ. նոյեմբերի 13-ին` ժամը 09:30-ին, Սյունիքի մարզի Լծեն համայնքի ղեկավար Հրահատ Նիկալյանից ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ նույն գյուղի բնակիչ 50-ամյա Բենիկ Հարությունյանն իրենց տանը կախվելու միջոցով ինքնասպան է եղել:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, դեպքի վայր է մեկնել քննչական-օպերատիվ խումբը՝ ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի Սյունիքի մարզային քննչական վարչության Սիսիանի քննչական բաժնի քննիչի գլխավորությամբ։

Նախնական տվյալներով՝ Բ.Հարությունյանն ինքնասպանություն է գործել 2015թ. նոյեմբերի 13-ին` ժամը 07:30-ի սահմաններում, իրենց տանը կից հացատան գերանից պարանով կախվելու միջոցով: Դիակի արտաքին զննությամբ բռնության հետքեր չեն հայտնաբերվել: Նշանակվել է դատաբժշկական փորձաքննություն։

Կատարվում է քննություն՝ Բ.Հարությունյանի մահվան հանգամանքները, ինքնասպանություն գործելու պատճառները պարզելու ուղղությամբ։ 

Ըստ հարազատների տված բացատրության`  նրա մոտ ի հայտ էին եկել առողջական որոշ խնդիրներ, նշանակվել էր դեղորայքային բուժում, իսկ 2015թ. նոյեմբերի 16-ին ստացիոնար բուժման նպատակով պետք է տեղափոխվեր համապատասխան բժշկական հաստատություն։

Ձեռնարկվում են անհրաժեշտ գործողություններ՝ առաջ քաշված հնարավոր վարկածներն ստուգելու ուղղությամբ։
