Երևանում նոյեմբերի 14-ին հայտարարված համաքաղաքային ծառատունկն ու շաբաթօրյակը համախմբել էին բազմաթիվ պետական ու մասնավոր հիմնարկ-ձեռնարկությունների ներկայացուցիչներին, Երևանի ավագանու անդամներին, ինչպես նաև հազարավոր քաղաքացիներին: Երևանի Նոր Նորք վարչական շրջանի Թաթուլ Կրպեյանի անվան զբոսայգում իր որդիների հետ միասին ծառատունկին մասնակցեց նաև Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը: 

«Մայրաքաղաքումիրականացվում են ներքինշաբաթօրյակներ և բարի ավանդույթ է դարձել, որ տարեկան երկու անգամ էլ համաքաղաքայինշաբաթօրյակներ անցկացնելը, որի նպատակը համատեղ ուժերով մայրաքաղաքի ընդհանուրօգտագործման տարածքները մաքրելն ու ծառատունկ իրականացնելն է: Ծառատունկի հետ կապվածայս անգամ հիմնական շեշտը դրել ենք մայրաքաղաքի որոշ հատվածներում ամառային շոգերիհետևանքով հրդեհված կանաչ տարածքների վերականգնման վրա. ծառատունկեր են իրականացվումԾիծեռնակաբերդի լանջի հրդեհված տարածքում, Բուսաբանական այգի տարածքում, ինչպես նաև«Փարոսի» անտառ-պուրակում: Բացի այդ` մենք ծառերով ենք համալրում նաև նոր ստեղծվածայգիներն ու պուրակները: Այս տարի ստեղծել ենք ավելի քան վեց հեկտար նոր կանաչ տարածքներ,որոնց թվում են ՀՀ ազգային հերոս Թաթուլ Կրպեյանի անվան և Շենգավիթ վարչական շրջանումձևավորված Արցախյան ազատամարտի հերոս նահատակներից Արթուր Կարապետյանի անվանզբոսայգիները: Բացի այդ` համաքաղաքային ծառատունկերի շրջանակում նաև բակերն են համալրվումնոր ծառերով»,- լրագրողների հետ զրույցում հայտնեց Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը` հավելելով, որ աշնանային ծառատունկի ընթացքում տնկվելու է շուրջ քսան հազար ծառ և թուփ:

Նա նկատեց, որ այս տարի շուրջ 55 հազար ծառ և թուփ է ավելացել Երևանում: «Ամենակարևորը` այդ նոր տնկված ծառերի և թփերի խնամքն է: Հենց այդ նպատակով մենք ծառատունկերն իրականացնում ենքբացառապես ոռոգելի տարածքներում: Ամեն տարի զգալիորեն ընդլայնում ենք նաև ոռոգման ցանցը`յուրաքանչյուր տարի շուրջ քսան կիլոմետրով, ինչի արդյունքում ընդհանուր օգտագործման < b>կանաչտարածքների ընդհանուր մակերեսը այսօր 860 հեկտար է կազմում, ինչը շատ կարևոր է»,-շեշտեց Մարգարյանը` կարևորելով այն փաստը, որ տարեցտարի ավելանում է ծառատունկին և շաբաթօրյակին մասնակցող մասնավոր ընկերությունների և երևանցիների թիվը:
