ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը նոյեմբերի 16-ին ընդունել է ժամանակակից բյուրեղագիտության հիմնադիրներից մեկին՝ հայազգի գիտնական, տեսաբան-բյուրեղագետ, պրոֆեսոր Արտյոմ Օգանովին, ում ստեղծած համակարգչային ծրագրից օգտվում են հարյուրավոր լաբորատորիաներ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, հեղինակավոր գիտնականը Հայաստանում է գտնվում Հանրապետության  նախագահի հովանու ներքո իրականացվող Երիտասարդ գիտնականների աջակցության ծրագրի ղեկավար մարմնի հրավերով և այսօր Երևանի պետական համալսարանի ֆիզիկայի ֆակուլտետում նյութերի նախագծման նորագույն մեթոդների վերաբերյալ երիտասարդ գիտնականների համար բաց դասախոսություն է կարդացել:

Արտյոմ Օգանովի ստեղծած բյուրեղային կառուցվածքների կանխորոշման ալգորիթմը՝ USPEX ծրագիրը, որն ունի բյուրեղների տարածական կառուցվածքի կանխորոշման ամենաբարձր արդյունավետությունը, օգտագործվում է ավելի քան 2500 գիտնականների կողմից: Նյութերի նախագծման և կառուցվածքների կանխորոշման համակարգչային բազմաթիվ ծրագրերն օգտագործվում են դեղագիտության, կենսատեխնոլոգիաների, սարքաշինության և այլ ոլորտներում:

Նախագահը ողջունել է հյուրին, կարևորել այն առաքելությունը, որով հայտնի գիտնականը ժամանել է հայրենիք: Հանրապետության Նախագահը Արտյոմ Օգանովից հետաքրքրվել է ԵՊՀ-ում երիտասարդ գիտնականների հետ, այնուհետև ԳԱԱ-ում ունեցած հանդիպումների արդյունքներով: Ներկայացնելով իր տպավորությունները՝ պրոֆեսոր Օգանովը նշել է, որ դասախոսության ժամանակ զգացել է, թե գիտության և կրթության ոլորտում որքան նպատակասլաց, հեռանկար ունեցող կիրթ երիտասարդներ կան:

Նա պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել իր հնարավորությունների սահմաններում աջակցություն ցուցաբերել այդ երիտասարդներին և նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ քննարկել է աջակցության հնարավոր տարբերակները, այդ թվում՝ հայ երիտասարդների համար ՌԴ-ի, ԱՄՆ-ի և Չինաստանի իր լաբորատորիաներում կրթական ծրագրերի անցկացումը, Հայաստանում ամառային դպրոցների կազմակերպումը և այլն: Արտյոմ Օգանովը շեշտել է, որ իր համար մեծ պատիվ է օգտակար լինել հայրենիքին, որի հետ մշտական կապ ունի: Նա մեծապես կարևորել է ՀՀ նախագահի հովանու ներքո իրականացվող Երիտասարդ գիտնականների աջակցության ծրագիրը և, առհասարակ, կրթական բոլոր այն նախաձեռնությունները, որոնք միտված են տարբ եր ոլորտներում մրցունակ, որակյալ կադրերի պատրաստմանը:
