Մոսկվայում նոյեմբերի 30-ից դեկտեմբերի 7-ը կանցկացվի պատանի երաժիշտների «Շչելկունչիկ» 16-րդ միջազգային հեռուստատեսային մրցույթը:

Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, մրցույթին կմասնակցեն 9-14 տարեկան 48 պատանի երաժիշտներ՝ Ռուսաստանից, Հայաստանից, ԱՄՆ-ից, Մեծ Բրիտանիայից, Չինաստանից, Ավստրիայից, Նորվեգիայից, Բուլղարիայից, Հունգարիայից, Չեխիայից, Ճապոնիայից, Վրաստանից, Լատվիայից: 
ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության աջակցությամբ այս տարվա մրցույթին Հայաստանից կմասնակցի Երևանի Կ. Սարաջյանի անվան երաժշտական դպրոցի պատանի թավջութակահար հանրապետական և միջազգային մրցույթների դափնե կիր Արտյոմ Իոանիսյանը (դասատու` Գայանե Ռաֆայելյան): Նա կկատարի Գ. Կասսադոյի, Դ. Պոպպերի, Ա. Դվորժակի ստեղծագործությունները:
Պատանի երաժիշտների «Շչելկունչիկ» 16-րդ միջազգային հեռուստատեսային մրցույթը կանցկացվի 3 անվանակարգերում՝ դաշնամուր, փողային և հարվածային գործիքներ, լարային գործիքներ՝ ջութակ, թավջութակ, տավիղ:
Պատանի երաժիշտ-կատարողների ելույթները կգնահատի անվանի երաժիշտներից կազմված հեղինակավոր ժյուրին:
Ամենամյա այս մրցույթը հիմնադրվել է 2000 թվականին՝ ռուսաստանյան «Կուլտուրա» հեռուստաալիքի կողմից: Իր տե սակի մեջ եզակի այս երաժշտական մրցույթը մինչ օրս մնում է Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության մանկական հեռուստատեսային միակ մրցույթը՝ դասական երաժշտության բնագավառում: Տարիների ընթացքում մրցույթն ունեցել է ավելի քան 1000 մասնակից աշխարհի՝ մեկուկես տասնյակից ավելի երկրներից: Մրցույթի նպատակն է ուշադրություն հրավիրել մանկական երաժշտական կրթության և դաստիարակության հարցերին, հայտնաբերել պատանի տաղանդավոր երաժիշտների, ովքեր կշարունակեն կատարողական դպրոցի լավագույն ավանդույթները:
