Представляющий Германию армянский боксет, чемпион мира по версии WBO во втором среднем весе (до 76,2 кг) 35-летний Артур Абрахам защитил свой титул в бою с 33-летним британцем Мартином Мюрреем.

Состоявшийся в ночь на воскресение в Ганновере 12-раундовый поединок завершился небольшим преимуществом Абрахама (115:112, 112:115, 116:111).

Артур Абрахам (Аветик Абрамян) – уроженец Армении, выступает под флагом Германии. Стал чемпионом мира во втором среднем весе по версии WBO, отобрав в августе 2012 года чемпионский пояс у Роберта Штиглица. 23 марта 2013 года «Король Артур» не смог защитить свой титул в бою с тем же Штиглицем.

Однако в марте 2014 года Абрахам вернул себе чемпионский пояс, победив Штиглица в матче-реванше, а затем защитил его в поединках с черногорцем Николой Сьеклочей и Полом Смитом.

Абрахам владел титулом чемпиона мира по версии IBF в среднем весе в 2005-2009 годах. Много раз признавался лучшим боксером Германии.
