Ծնողները չպետք է հրաժարվեն այն երեխաներից, որոնք սահմանափակ հնարավորություններով են ծնվել: NEWS.am Medicine–ի հարցմանը այսպես է պատասխանել հարցման մասնակիցների 44 տոկոսը:

«Ի՞նչ եք կարծում, ծնողները ճիշտ են վարվում, երբ հրաժարվում են ֆիզիկական ու մտավոր պաթոլոգիաներով երեխաներից» հարցին ընդամենը 1736 մարդ է պատասխանել, որոնցից 17 տոկոսը համարում է, որ հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխաներից պետք է հրաժարվել, քանի որ այդպես ընտանիքի համար ավելի լավ կլինի: Եվս 39 տկոսը դժվարացել է պատասխանել այդ հարցին, իսկ մեծամասնությունը՝ 44 տոկոսը, հայտնել է, որ ծնողները ոչ մի դեպքում չպետք է հրաժարվեն իրենց երեխաներից:

Ինչպես թղթակցի հետ զրույցում նշել է «Հայ մայրեր» բարեգործական հասարակական կազմակերպության ղեկավար Նարինե Մանուկյանը, իրականությունը ցավոք այն է, որ շատ զույգեր հաշմանդամությամբ երեխա ունենալու դեպքում նրան ծննդատանն են թողնում, ու երեխան հայտնվում է մանկատանը: Այսօրվա դրությամբ բազմաթիվ նման պատմություններ կան, որոնք լրատվամիջոցներին չեն հասնում, ու որոնց մասին քչերն են լսել:

Հիմնականում, ինչպես նշեց Նարինե Մանուկյանը, հենց ծննդատան բժիշկներն են խորհուրդ տալիս, որ ծնողները հրաժարվեն հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխաներից՝ պատճառաբանելով նրանով, որ նման երեխայի առկայությունը կդժբախտացնի ընտանիքին:

«Երեխաս շուտով հինգ տարեկան կդառնա ու ես՝ որպես հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխայի մայր, կարող եմ ամենայն պատասխանատվությամբ հերքել այդ տեսակետը: Ընտանիքը կարող է դժբախտ լինել նույնիսկ ունենալով լիարժեք, ոչ մի առողջական խնդիր չունեցող երեխա: Իսկ հաշմանդամությամբ երեխան ամենեւին էլ դժբախտության պատճառ չի կարող դառնալ: Երջանկությունը հոգեվիճակ է, ու մարդը պետք է կարողանա գնահատել այն, ինչ ունի: Հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխան, չնայած Հայաստանի ծանր սոցիալ-տնտեսական իրավիճակին, իրականում այնքան էլ մեծ խնդիր չէ, որքան շատերին կարող է թվալ», - նշեց Նարինե Մանուկյանը՝ հավելելով, որ իր կարծիքով երեխան անկախ հաշմանդամության առկայությունից, պետք է ընտանիքում դաստիարակվի, ու ոչ մի մանկատուն, թեկուզ ամենամասնագիտացվածը, չի կարող փոխարինել ընտանիքին:

Ինչպես նշեց Նարինե Մանուկյանը՝ ցանկալի է, որ հայ հասարակությունն այնուամենայնիվ մի քիչ փոխի իր վերաբերմունքը հաշմանդամություն ունեցող մարդկանց նկատմամբ ու սկսի հասկանալ, որ նրանք նույնպես հասարակության մի մասն են, նույնիսկ եթե ինչ- որ բանով տարբերվում են մեծամասնությունից: Եթե հասարակությունը կարողանա նման գիտակցության հասնել ու սկսի հաշմանդամ մարդկանց ընկալել որպես իրենց հավասարի՝ սահմանափակ հնարավորություններով հազարավոր մարդիկ շատ ավելի երջանիկ կդառնան. նրանք կապրեն իրենց ընտանիքներում ու իրենց հասարակության լիարժեք անդամներ կզգան:
