Ճապոնիայի կառավարությունը Հայասանի Հանրապետության հետ կշարունակի համագործակցությունը առողջապահության բնագավառում: Այս մասին հայտարարեց ՀՀ-ում Ճապոնիայի թագավորության արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Էյջի Տագուչին' նոյեմբերի 28-ին Ճամբարակ քաղաքի առողջապահական կենտրոնի բացման հանդիսավոր արարողության ժամանակ, որին մասնակցում էր ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:«Ինձ համար հաճելի էր ներկա գտնվել Ճամբարակ քաղաքի Առողջության կենտրոնի բացման արարողությանը, որի կահավորման եւ վերազինման համար Ճապոնիայի կառավարությունը ներդրել է 115 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլար: Կարծում եմ, որ սա հայ-ճապոնական համագործակցության հիմքն է, որը կունենա իր շարունակությունը: Անչափ կարեւորում եմ Ճամբարակի Առողջության կենտրոնի արդիականացման ծրագիրը եւ իմ երախտագիտությունն եմ հայտնում միջազգային ու տեղական բոլոր այն կառույցներին, որոնց համագործակցության արդյունքում Ճամբարակ քաղաքն ունեցավ արդի չափանիշներին համապատասխան առողջության կենտրոն», -հավաստեց դեսպանը:

Բժշկական կետրոնը վերակառուցվել է ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարության և Հայաստանի տարածքային զարգացման հիմնադրամի կողմից' ՀՀ կառավարության և Համաշխարհային բանկի ֆինանսավորմամբ իրականացվող վարկային ծրագրերի շրջանակում: Հայաստանում Ճապոնիայի դեսպանատունն էլ դրամաշնորհ է տրամադրել World Vision բարեգործական կազմակերպությանը, որի շնորհիվ կենտրոնը ստացել է լրացուցիչ գույք և անհրաժեշտ սարքավորումներ:
