«Ազատության հրապարակի միջոցառման կազմակերպիչները ոստիկանությանը մեղադրում են, թե նախօրեի երթի ժամանակ ոստիկանները պաշտպանել են Հանրապետական կուսակցության գրասենյակը: Ստիպված ենք հիշեցնել. ոստիկանությունը ապաքաղաքական ու վերկուսակցակական կառույց է, որի գործառույթն է՝ օրենքով սահմանված կարգով ապահովել հասարակական կարգը, պահպանել քաղաքացիների անվտանգությունը, պաշտպանել մասնավոր և հանրային կառույցների անձեռմխելիությունը, այդ թվում և՝ կուսակցությունների շինություններն ու գույքը: Հիշեցնենք, որ իր ծառայողական պարտականությ ունները կատարելով՝ նույն ոստիկանությունը ժամանակին ապահովել է նաև Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանի, նրա բնակության վայրի և կուսակցական գրասենյակի անվտանգությունը: Կրկին հորդորում ենք լինել ազնիվ ու անաչառ և ձեռնպահ մնալ ոստիկանությունը քաղաքական ինչ-ինչ հաշվարկների մեջ ներքաշելու փորձերից ու անհիմն մեղադրանքներից»:
