«Հայ-թուրքական հարաբերություններն անհրաժեշտ է դուրս բերել 1915 մետր խորություն ունեցող ջրհորից» Հրանտ Դինքը ծնվել է 1954 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 15-ին Մալաթիայում: Դինքը հայտնի է' որպես մեծ պահանջարկ ունեցող լրագրող, հայերեն ու թուրքերեն լեզուներով լույս տեսնող «Ագոս» թերթի գլխավոր խմբագիր, իր ժամանակի ականավոր մտավորական, հոդվածագիր: «Ագոս»-ը, ըստ էության, միակ հայալեզու ամսաթերթն է, որը լույս է տեսնում Ստամբուլում' հանդիսանալով հայոց համայնքի ձայնը' սկսած 1996 թվականից: Դինքը ծնվել է հայազգի Սարգիս Դինքի (Հաշիմ Քալֆա) և Սվազից սերող Գյուլվարդ Դինքի ընտանիքում:
Վաղ մանկությունից դաստիարակվել է պապի մոտ, իսկ Ստամբուլ տեղափոխվելուց հետո, երբ նրա ծնողներն ամուսնալուծվել են, նա հայտնվել է Գետիկփաշա շրջանի հայկական մանկատանը, որտեղ էլ հանդիպել է իր ապագա տիկնոջը' Ռաքելին: Նշեմ նաև, որ Դինքն իր կրթությունը ստացել է հայկական դպրոցներում: «Ագոս»-ը սկսել է հրատարակվել 1996 թվականի ապրիլի 5-ին' ընդամենը 1800 տպաքանակով' նպատակունենալով բարձրացնել Թուրքիայում ժողովրդավարության ու ազգային փոքրամասնությունների իրավունքների ոտնահարման խնդիրները, բարելավել հայկական համայնքի ու թուրք հասարակության հարաբերությունները:
Հարկ է հավելել, որ 2004 թվականի փետրվարի 24-ին տպագրվեց Ագոսի առավել ազդեցիկ հոդվածներից մեկի, որի հեղինակ Հռիփսիմե Գազալյանը փաստում էր, որ Թուրքիայի առաջին կինօդաչուն' Սաբինա Գյոքսենը, իրականում հայ է եղել, ավելին' այն հայ որբերից էր, որոնք որդեգրվել էին 1915 թվականից հետո: Այս ժամանակից ի վեր' Դինքը պարբերաբար ենթարկվում էր սպառնալիքների, հետապնդումների թուրք ազգայնականների կողմից' հաճախակի հարկադրված լինելով այցելել ոստիկանական բաժանմունքներ, քանզի Հրանտը բարձրաձայնում էր Հայկական հարցը, Հայոց Ցեղասպանության ընդունման անհրաժեշտությունը, որը կնպաստեր հայ-թուրքական երկխոսությանը' միևնույն ժամանակ կտրականապես հրաժարվելով լքել Թուրքիան. նա սիրում էր կրկնել, որ հայ է, բայց ծնվել է Թուրքիայում, նաև թուրք հասարակություն մի մասնիկն է ու չի ցանկանում փախչել…
Արդյունքում' Դինքը դատապարտվեց Սահմանադրության 301 հոդվածով, քանի որ քննարկումներ էր կազմակերպում ու հոդվածներ էր գրում' դեմ դուրս գալով «Երջանիկ է նա, ով իրեն թուրք է անվանում» նշանաբանին, որը անգամ հարկադրում էին սերտել թուրքական դպրոցներում: Իր վերջին հոդվածում Դինքը գրում է. «Ես նման եմ աղավնու այս հասարակության մեջ, որը պետք է շատ աչալուրջ լինի, ուստի ես ճարպկորեն պտտում եմ գլուխս աջուձախ, վերևուներքև, որքան հնարավոր է արագ, որ խուսափեմ շուրջս առկա վտանգներից… բայց ես չեմ սարսափում, քանի որ այս հասարակության մեջ աղավնիներին չեն կրակում»… Ցավոք, իրականությունը դաժան գտնվեց… Հրանտ Դինքին սպանեցին 2007 թվականի հունվարի 19-ին Ստամբուլի կենտրոնում' Ագոսի խմբագրատանը կից տարածքում:
Համաձայն պաշտոնական թուրքական տարբերակի' մարդասպանն այն ժամանակ 17-ամյա Օղյուն Սամասթն է, որին ձերբակալել են և որն ընդունել է իր մեղքը հունվարի 21-ին: Շատերը հավաստիացնում են, որ սպանությունը պատվիրված է եղել… Ասում են' Դինքը փոխեց Թուրքիան. նրա մահվան հաջորդ օրը հազարավոր թուրքեր ու հայեր' մոմերով, ծաղիկներով ու Դինքի լուսանկարներով, շարժվեցին կենտրոնական Թաքսիմ հրապարակից մինչ սպանության վայրը' ձեռքներին պահած «Մենք բոլորս հայ ենք, մենք բոլորս Հրանտ Դինքն ենք»…
