Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ թուրքական կողմը չի պատրաստվում զորքերը դուրս բերել հյուսիսային Իրաքից: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմնեպրես»-ը, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է թուրքական «Միլլիեթ» պարբերականը:

Էրդողանն ընդգծել է, որ իրենք մշտապես զորքեր ուղարկել են Իրաք, և սա նմանօրինակ առաջին դեպքը չէ: Նա նշել է, որ զորքերը հյուսիսային Իրաքում վարժեցնում են տեղի քրդական զորամիավորումներին՝ փեշմերգաներին, որոնք մարտնչում են ահաբեկչական ԻՊ-ի դեմ: «Կապված փեշմերգաների թվաքանակից, որոնց վարժեցնում ենք, մեր զորքերի թվաքանակը կարող է ավելանալ կամ պակասել: Այս պահին խոսք անգամ չի կարող գնալ զորքերը հետ քաշելու վերաբերյալ»,- ասել է Թուրքիայի ղեկավարը:

Թուրքիան դեկտեմբերի 5-ին Իրաքի հյուսիսում գտնվող Բաշիքա բնակավայրի մոտ, որտեղ տեղակայված են քրդականփեշմերգայի (քրդական զորամիավորումներ) ճամբարները,տեղայակայել է իր զորքերը, այդ թվում տանկ ևզրահատեխնիկա: Թուրքական կողմի հավաստմամբ՝ այդպեսնրանք պատրաստվում են հարձակվել Մոսուլի վրա, որը գրավել են ԻՊ ծայրահեղականները, ինչպես նաև վարժեցնել քրդական փեշմերգային ԻՊ-ի դեմ պայքարի համար: Իրաքի ԱԳՆ-ն իր մոտ է կանչել Բաղդադում Թուրքիայի դեսպանին ու պահանջել, որ Թուրքիան անմիջապես դուրսբերի իր զորքերը երկրի հյուսիսային շրջաններից: Իրաքի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունից հայտարարել են, որ պաշտոնականԱնկարան իր զորքերը մտցրել է առանց Բաղդադի հետ համաձայնության, ինչը որակվում է որպես «թշնամական գործողություն»:

Իրաքի իշխանությունները պահանջել են պաշտոնական Անկարայից 48 ժամվա ընթացքում դուրս բերել զորքերը հյուսիսային Իրաքիտարածքներից: Իրաքի վարչապետ Հայդար ալ-Աբադին հայտարարել է, որ եթե Թուրքիայի իշխանությունները չկատարեն իրենց պահանջը, ապաիրենք ստիպված կլինեն կիրառել հնարավոր բոլոր տարբերակները, այդ թվում և Միավորված ազգերի կազմակերպության Անվտանգությանխորհուրդ դիմելը: Դեկտեմբերի 8-ին այդ հայտարարությունը կրկնել է արդեն Իրաքի արտգործնախարար Իբրահիմ էլ-Ջաֆարին՝նախազգուշացնելով, որ վերջնաժամկետը մոտենում է ավարտին:

Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Ահմեդ Դավութօղլուն նամակ է ուղարկել Իրաքի վարչապետ Հայդար էլ-Էբադիին՝ տեղեկացնելով, որ Թուրքիան մտադիր չէհավելյալ զորքեր ուղարկել Իրաքի հյուսիսային շրջաններ: Այդուհանդերձ, Թուրքիայի ԱԳՆ-ից հայտնել են, որ իրենք չեն պատրաստվում զորքերըդուրս բերել հյուսիսային Իրաքից:
