 Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին դեկտեմբերի 15-ին իր հավատարմագրերն է հանձնել ՀՀ-ում Կորեայի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Պակ Նո Փյոկը (նստավայրը` Մոսկվա): Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Նախագահը շնորհավորել է դեսպանին նշանակման կապակցությամբ և հաջողություններ մաղթել մեր երկրում դիվանագիտական առաքելությունն իրականացնելու գործում: Ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանի և Կորեայի միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերություների հաստատումից ի վեր երկու երկրների միջև քաղաքական երկխոսությունն ընթացել է բարեկամական ոգով, Սերժ Սարգսյանը հույս է հայտնել, որ դեսպան Պակ Նո Փյոկն իր փորձն ու գիտելիքները լավագույնս կծառայեցնի այդ հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացման՝ քաղաքական, տնտեսական, մշակութային և այլ ոլորտներում միջպետական կապերի ամրապնդման և մեծ ներուժ ունեցող փոխշահավետ համագործակցության համար:

Հանրապետության Նախագահը նշել է, թե ջերմությամբ է հիշում 2012թ. մարտին գլոբալ անվտանգության համար առանցքային նշանակություն ունեցող Միջուկային անվտանգության միջազգային գագաթնաժողովին մասնակցելու նպատակով Կորեայի Հանրապետություն կատարած իր այցը: ՀՀ Նախագահի այցը, Կորեայի դեսպանի խոսքով, նոր խթան հանդիսացավ երկկողմ հարաբերությունների զարգացման համար: Պակ Նո Փյոկը նշել է, թե ամբողջությամբ կիսում է ՀՀ Նախագահի մոտեցումները հայ-կորեական հարաբերութունների հեռանկարի վերաբերյալ և վստահեցրել, որ առավելագույն ջանք կներդնի այդ հարաբերությունները խորացնելու, համագործակցությունն ակտիվացնելու, ՀՀ տնտեսության մեջ կորեական ներդրումներ ներգրավելու ուղղությամբ, որի համար դեսպանը կարևորել է իրավապայմանագրային դաշտի ընդլայնումը:

Զրուցակիցները համակարծիք են եղել, որ երկկողմ առևտրատնտեսական փոխգործակցության զարգացման տեսանկյունից Հայաստանի՝ ԵԱՏՄ-ին անդամակցությունը նոր հեռանկարներ է բացում: Կորեայի դեսպանը տեղեկացրել է, որ իր երկիրն այժմ ուսումնասիրում է եվրասիական շուկայի հնարավորությունները և Միության անդամ երկրների հետ տնտեսական համագործակցության զարգացման հեռանկարը:

Նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Կորեայի կառավարությանը՝ Հայաստանի զարգացմանը ցուցաբերած տեխնիկական աջակցության համար:

Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը և դեսպան Պակ Նո Փյոկը կարևորել են նաև միջազգային կառույցների շրջանակներում Հայաստանի և Կորեայի համագործակցությունը:

Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է եղել ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակներում ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորման բանակցային գործընթացին:
